Any riders here that have had spinal surgery and had a positive outcome, please share!

EDIT: this was about J Mart's back doctor, but he's retired and it has started turning into doctor recommendations, which I really appreciate! My insurance provides a pretty good amount of flexibility about crossing state lines and when it comes to something so important, I'm willing to travel as needed, so any continental US experiences are an option!

Hello, I am trying to find out if it was ever disclosed what the name of J Mart's doctor was that did his amazing surgery after the first one was botched? He was very free with mentioning that it was at the Steadman Clinic in Vail, but the doctor's name isn't in the press releases. I'm hoping he said the name in some interview/pod/tv segment and someone could point me in that direction. It looks like for me it's which surgery I'll need vs if I'll need it, and my insurance is accepted by the Steadman Clinic, so I'd love to go the the doctor that pulled off such an incredible surgery. Mine would be much much less intense, so it would probably be super easy for them. I've been told if I just go with any random neurosurgeon with my situation it could be a roll of the dice, but if I find a respected one I should have a good chance of a full recovery with little to no limitations. So I figured I might as well find one of the best out there, which would certainly seem to be J Mart's person. If anyone knows the name, please share! I tired his social media but I don't think he responses very often. Thanks!

It was Dr. Corenman from Steadman clinic. Unfortunately for you he has since retired.

Well, at least I know now. I've got to think that his replacement as such an esteemed clinic has to be on an elite level, I'll have to do some research. Thanks!

Look into the Rosenberg Cooley Metcalf clinic in Utah. Not 100% sure they have a spine specialists but if they are good enough for tiger woods good enough for me.

Look up Dr. Wang in Austin TX... He did my back surgery at Del Seton Hospital (University of Texas) and did phenomenal work. I had a kinked spinal cord with burst fracture T10- fracture T11 and he removed the fragments from my spinal cord, straightened the cord, fused my vertebrae and placed two rods in my back. He was really great

Uc trauma in Cincinnati Ohio. Dont know his name unfortunately. Rods and screws etc. i did t have time to choose lol. Thats where they took me. God bless those guys. I would've been in trouble without modern medicine.

I broke my neck Aug 2 2021 on a mountainbike. My Neurosurgeon was Dr Stark at Memorial-Herman Hosp. in Houston. I never thought I would walk again, but now, 9 months later I am riding again !

Look into Barrows Brain and Spine in Phoenix,AZ. I had my neck fixed there by Dr. Kakarla, guy has done some amazing procedures from what I found while doing research for someone to work on me.

Dr Matthew Mian Denver Colorado did mine. Guy is rediculously good, also has Masters from MIT. Works out of Swedish Hospital. Best spinal surgeon in Colorado
