That's my sons problem. He is a big kid, his waist is probably a 33 or 34 but he needs more room in the legs and ass to keep from splitting them out.

For some of the top guys, Certain gear is mostly custom for each guy. The waste starts at a stock size and is then dialed in for the best fit, as are the legs, etc.

These measurements will often change between different models of gear as well, like the super lightweight stretchy stuff Vs. normal materials.

Full custom gear can get very tricky...

Allegedly Cool

Man if only we had Ralph back, he would get to the bottom of this and mention everybody's pants size.
“Ricky! I don’t know if you know this or not, but 4 of our top five riders wear a size 28, it is unreal how strict their diets are.. say what’s your fat ass in right now?”

An observation from the floor, these guy's are tiny. I'm jealous of course. I've always said it's a disadvantage in the 250's to be larger, you need to be a jockey sized. These guy's aren't really short as a group, but man they have no waist at all. It's more obvious these days with gear being stretch latex tight. They must have to eat like a bird?

Only a handful of guy's appeared normal sized. I'll let ya'll guess who they are.

There’s no way they are all that small. When I was in my 20’s, a marine, had no body fat, and lived on a bike, I wore a 32/XL. Some guys are jockey size, some guys are adult size lol.

Now at 43, 12 years out of the military and 5 years into a mostly desk job, I’m a 34/xl. Can’t keep it forever 😂

Levi 569s are probably what he wants. I wear them because loose cut are skinny jeans

Levi’s used to have a pretty cool program for college athletes. They would custom tailor jeans but charge the same as standard retail.

Back around my junior year, I was about 6’4, 225 and wore a size 34 Levi. One of my roommates was a little over 6’7 and 305 and also wore a size 34. He had just ordered a new batch of jeans so he gave me a couple pairs of his “old” ones, which I thought that I would just have to hem a little bit. Instead the pants looked like MC Hammer parachute pants, as the thighs were almost as big as the freaking waist!

Never tried that again!

I remember being young and actually wishing I was smaller so I could be more like my moto heroes.

My guess - With the amount of dirt bike and bicycle riding + the gym work those guys put in, there probably isn't enough food in the world to exceed their daily calorie intake.
One other thing - mostly ectomorphs.
