There will be huge subsidies and tax incentives (i.e. taxes and currency inflation paid for by the working class) for the market to develop EVs that meet everyone's needs. Vehicles and market sectors that will still rely on ICE due to EV limitations like construction equipment, long haul trucks, etc. will become ridiculously expensive and sale and ownership highly regulated...

OldTiddler Started a new thread Cooper Webb's Best Skill

We all know Cooper is overall very fast, he's tenacious and makes few mistakes, but what no one seems to acknowledge is that this guy wins because of his cornering skills. He stays low and makes that inside line work like no other. I don't know how many times I've seen Ken chasing him and goes for the outside lines...

OldTiddler Added a reply to Barcia

Barcia has been amazing this year. The speed and style he was showing was unreal. I think he was making up around a second a lap or so on the leaders when he was closing in on AC before he had the incident in the sand. If he keeps starting well and stays on 2 wheels he can take this...

OldTiddler Added a reply to Roczen is the new James Stewart

Ken may never be the same racer he was before his arm was destroyed. We often see flashes of his old speed and racecraft, particularly with his starts, but he nearly always fades in the final laps. It is disheartening to watch such a skilled and fierce champion struggle like this and see all the spark drain out of him...

OldTiddler Started a new thread Congrats Justin Barcia

Very solid ride on a new bike. He didn't just win, but held strong against constant pressure from a very game Ken Roczen. This track somehow made for a boring race, which is odd since there were multiple good lines in many corners, and a couple options in 2 of the rhythm lanes. I hope they throw more things at...

The idea of the comparison is interesting but the video itself is not, because the guy on the '19 does not know how to ride a 125. He's blipping the throttle going around a relatively smooth and easy track like he's doing a sight lap on a 450. That thing should be pinned the whole way around. Actually frustrating to...
Friends, Older C rider here considering getting back into riding after 5 years away, and I'd like to give it a whirl before taking the plunge and investing in the whole setup. It would be great to meet up with someone with a spare 125 or 250 2T at a local track and put a few 20 minutes in exchange...

I could help you out since I’m in Florida for a couple more weeks but all I have is a 2020 Kx450f with me, got to ride Bartow yesterday. Man I miss the sand

OldTiddler Started a new thread Considering a new 125

7/1/2020 6:42am
I'm considering getting back into the sport after about a 5 year layoff. I'm looking at getting a 125 (or maybe a 150) since that is what I always most enjoyed and was comfortable on. I really only know Suzukis but those seem rare now and would like to consider something newer as well. I'd like to find something that...
