So for clarification, a person puts a video online, makes it Public so all can view, maybe hopes it trends or gets millions of hits to possibly make a few $, but no one is allowed to critique it or have an opinion?

Every time I watch a kid like this, I think how foolish it is for Honda, Kawasaki and Suzuki to stop making 125 dirt bikes.

They are the perfect stepping stone for a young rider.

I like that Brian has him on the 125 and didn't go straight to the 250f. Am I wrong or did Ryder D jump straight to the 250f?

With their views/exposure on their yt stuff and the kid actually being talented i would think that if they want to go do some EMX rounds they should get be able to get KTM, FMF, Thor etc make it happen? (and yeah, i know Deegan has the money to pay for it himself)

So if Brian really wants to do it it probably will happen. I think it would be a smart move to make for his development.

Stew, RV, and CR all received a high level of support at a very young age, likely comparable to the level Deegan is receiving. There may be an argument for Dungey, in comparison to the other riders on that list, but he had amateur support as well. I haven't looked into TC222's career, so I'm not sure on him.

Edit: Unless you're speaking solely on initial entry into the sport. It's no secret Deegan has an advantage as a result of Brian's connections and money, but I'm not sure how much of an advantage it is in comparison to other top amateurs who don't enter with much but then get picked up at a young age.

I was there that day. He looked really good for the first time out on the 125, but like anyone hopping on a new bike, its going to take time to get very comfortable, get the bike set up for him, etc. At the moment he looks more "comfy" on his supermini simply because that's what he's been riding for a while. That said, he was still shredding on the 125.

BTW, all you talking about how this kid has been spoon fed his entire life can go pound sand. He puts in a lot of effort outside of the short videos you see every week. His skills are definitely not spoon fed to him.

VILLOPOTO had help with bikes but Chris and Dan didn't have to resources this kid has. RYAN would practice with Whipple any where they could find and have gotten kicked off land trying to better his speed. Not hating but Deagan has private training areas at his fingertips. Comparing the 2 is apples to oranges. Be safe

Some of the top riders families put everything on the line to get there kids to that next level to be given a great opportunity. Cairoli had nothing and had to fight to get that opportunity. Luckily Claudio De carli gave him that chance (just an example)

You guys fail to remember Brian almost died trying to achieve what he has and all those connections.
Did any of the other parents literally almost die so there kids can chase any dream they have?

My 6 year old has really gotten into watching the Deegan's videos. He's noticed the drills and training and is trying to copy that with my help. It's motivating for a young kid to watch some of that stuff, just like it was/is for us to watch Crusty and Terriferma videos. They market themselves well, and put a lot of effort into things. I don't understand the negativity from some of "you people"! I grew up poor, but that's no reason to hate on a family that has put themselves into a position to earn what they have. Some of "you people" need to pull your heads out of your asses and realize that people who live a great lifestyle didn't get there by sitting on the couch drinking, smoking dope, and talking shit on the internet.

Some of the top riders families put everything on the line to get there kids to that next level to be given a great opportunity. Cairoli had nothing and had to fight to get that opportunity. Luckily Claudio De carli gave him that chance (just an example)
Reed didn't have anything handed too him either.. He chose to race kids a lot older and won. Reed was racing pro open 250 class supercross at 16.

What Haiden has is an absolute advantage over many other moto kids... But that is in no way a knock on him or his dad and what they have available to them. If you had the talent and put out the effort, you could have been "close" to what they have too.

He's doing it well and doing it right, and a pleasure to watch on a dirt bike....

I like kids like that too. Everyone loves Weston Peick. But should a rich kid with great work ethic and tons of natural talent be slagged because they happened to be born into a good situation?

Pull your head out of your own ass ! Nobody is given digs to him or his family. They have done well and put themselves in a great spot and he has a fantastic opportunity to get what he wants in mx. When theres other kids who have fantastic talent but wont have the funds for that next step.

Like I said fortunately some of the best riders in history started with nothing and had to fight for it. I have more respect for those riders.

Back in 97' I thought Deegan was a punk... but man, that guy has shown he is as smart, as he is hungry.... great marketing by him and his crew... and they practice/train as hard, or harder, than anyone else...
