Not drinking beer and eating right will probably make you faster... but shaving ounces and making your bike look trick will make you so much happier!!

Interesting stuff regarding the pricing here in Finland, 8990€. That is really low for a 450 in this day and age. 750 cheaper than the YZF, 700 cheaper than the KX, about 1,4k cheaper than the Austrian bikes etc.

If i would look to jump up from my 250 to a 450, this new Honda would be right up there as an option (need to read the ride reviews first, of course).

Or when the 17 450 was coming out, or the 13 450, or the 09 450 lol. Anytime big red has an update it feels this way.

Correct... my last Honda was a 13 450. It was a great bike after the Full Hinson clutch, pipe, remap, larger front brake rotor, suspension revalve, spring forks from an older model.....radiator braces, ...bla bla bla....I love a Honda but me thinks it comes down to the testing dept.....

I'm sure that some of you folks on here have ridden it, and are sworn to secrecy. Can someone at least give us an idea of when the "first ride" reviews will be coming out?

Soonest I’ve heard from my local dealer that they’re getting them is September. So probably late August or early September they’ll be out to the magazines I would guess

My dealer said maybe earlier as they have no mx bikes left to sell, yamaha has there bike out now, so they might and have done before and get it in earlier. Hoping thats true.

Does anyone know if the suspension components have changed?? Im talking springs. Springs didn't exist for my 2017 crf450 for many months after i got mine. I didnt want to be in the same boat again. 200+.

Timing unloading my 2019 and putting a deposit on the 2021.

Kris Keefer was part of development, check out keefer testing inc for podcasts as they roll in. He has mentioned a little about it, look forward to hearing more!

I really hope they nail it with this 2021, for the people who buy the 450, but also because I want to buy the 2022 CRF250...

I've watched every single video, and read every single article. None of them are ride reports

There are only a few of them in the country. Honda and Suzuki holding out on the 21’s. I believe Honda did the same thing with the 17, it was a late fall arrival.

The 2017 bike was late because of a massive earthquake in Japan. Not because they chose for it to be late

Correct, and mxmaniac did not say they were, he clearly said "he mentioned a little about it"

I heard first ride reports would be around early-mid Sept ...hopefully its true. There may be some overseas earlier than that.

Grab one quick if you want one, supply of the new models will be super low, some dealers won't get 1.

First ride reports by most media outlets should be up late evening September 16th or early the 17th. In the meantime, I talk a little about the bike on my podcast (Show #188).

I got a call my local dealership regarding the '21 CRF450's. He said he attempted to order 30 CRF450r's and 10 CRF450 WE, but was only getting shipped one of each bike total. I'm hoping it's only the first batch of CRF's getting delivered. I know this will mean a markup on the price for these bikes. Sad
