I believe the issue is exasperated by the fact that the stock muffler is two piece vs a 3 piece system for the aftermarket. On the stock system some of the pressure is taken off of the muffler mounting tab with the mounting of the one piece header and mid-pipe.

Mine broke with the FMF system before i beefed up the tab. I had the extra bracket that FMF gives when mine broke. The bracket kept the muffler from falling off completely and ruining it.

This might make some sense.

Question for the people that have broken their sub frames?
Have all the FMF sub frame breaks been complete systems or have they also failed with just the slip on?

I bought a FMF slip on awhile back and never installed it being I didn't want to break my sub frame. So it would be interesting to get some feed back on what systems actually have broke sub frames. Thanks
That's actually super interesting. A buddy and myself who had/have the full system broke the subframe. A buddy with just the slip on hasn't (yet).

Maybe they actually put oil in the 2020 forks from the factory Sideways

Just picked up a 20 yesterday and same as my 19 there is microscopic amounts of grease on the bearings so I would not hold my breath to assume they put the right amount of oil in the forks lol

Lucky! I saw Luxon post yesterday about finding someone in SD. Im getting these as soon as they are released. Are they the same offset as stock? Meaning you could flip them around and be in a more forward position?

Same on mine, No lube but i thought that is because of shipping? Well it says in the manual to replace shock and fork fluid atfer 1 hour.
Anyone have a Good fork oil tip besides A15-00?

Yes you have four different forward and aft length adjustment positions. Also it has four 5mm height spacers, 2 for each bolt. You can run stock, 5mm or 10mm height adjustments. All the bolts and spacers are titanium. I saw all of the computer modeling and testing. These are the lightest and strongest bar mounts you can get. You can also get them for the new Renthal super oversize bars. I already had regular fatbars or I would have changed over. LUXON has them now for all of the brands. I don't think they have the web page updated yet, but if you call Billy at Luxon I bet he would have a set for you pretty quick.

So they found a way to make a one-piece clamp fit either mounting position??

They have two different bottom mounts. You have to order for either the front or the rear mounting. Figure out which position you like your stock bars in before you order. I use the front location. So that's the mount I got. So you two forward and aft adjustments with three heights.

Picked up a ‘21 yesterday. Had a ‘20 lined up, but had to have that new clutch. Anybody have a single .52kg fork spring they want to sell?

Nice, congrats. Any chance to ride it yet? Is that a glare on your side panel or crack? Ride review would be awesome when ya get some time on it.

30 hours on my 2020 and went ahead and put new Hinson full pack clutches with heavy springs. (My clutch wasn’t slipping yet)

I was surprised that the Hinson fiber plates had at least twice the surface area of the stock fiber plates. Haven’t got to ride it yet, Texas has to much rain right now, everything is closed

Thanks man. Haven’t gotten to ride it yet. Waiting on a few things like chain and sprockets. Still have to grease the linkage yet as well. That’s a glare on the side panel and I can definitely post my first impressions. Coming off a last gen KX450.

I know people have had issues with the incorrect fork oil level, but the reason they skimp on grease is so nothing leaks out during shipping which causes issues with EPA. The two should be unrelated.

Do yourself a favor and grease the suspension and steering head bearings before you ride. It is a quick and easy job if you do it before it gets dirty.

For sure. Do it on every new bike. It was 90° with like 70% humidity yesterday so the linkage will have to wait until sometime this week. Already ordered ARC levers too. The levers on this bike are goofy and the grips are tiny but those get replaced instantly anyway.

a puddle of coolant under it at 21 hours. I assume the water pump seal? I've been waiting to get the PC water pump impeller and cover, but it has been on back order. Anyone else with this issue? (

I have the Ride Engineering bar clamps on my 2019, and they work flawlessly for me. Now I don’t have to take everything apart and untwist it every time I tip over in a turn.
