2.4 is a little loose. Manual calls for 1.9-2.1". I shoot for 2-2.1.
Race Tech spring calculator recommends .51 fork springs and 6.0 shock spring for you on the 19 KX450. I have a 6.0 shock spring for that bike that I will sell if you are interested. I am 6'4 195 and have a 19 KX450 and it feels great. I rode my buddies 17 KTM and it felt really small. I was even missing getting my feet back up on the pegs a few times.

Another vote for Mobius. I hurt ligaments in my wrist and couldn't ride without the mobius brace for a couple months. Once you get the tightness dialed in you won't even know you have it on.
