I wish Vialle would talk a bit more trash and create some rivalry.....but for sure no reason to boo him

Why... is it that people pay attention to the minority rather than the majority. Most fans have no problem with Tom.

I heard that as well today and it’s just lame. Tom is such a positive addition to this series. Respectful both on and off the track, works hard and is super transparent in interviews despite the language barrier.

It's lame. When I was young and dumb, I had an irrational hate for JMB. Bring over all the foreign riders. The more, the better. 

I hear ya it's just that I don't find anything odd the things that people do, either on the net or in public. Speed bumps in the grand scheme of things. 

I'm as red blooded American, as there is, farm boy raised in the midwest and stuff like this pisses me off.  Many times I've told people in person to shut the fuck up or I'll shut them the fuck up when it comes to this.  He's one of the best riders in the world and he came over here to the US to ride in our series.  He makes it better racing and a better series.  To keep that going, we want more GP riders to come over.  People booing MM25, DF, and now Vialle are just complete morons.

Funny.. While watching UFC and opening this thread they're shouting USA and booing the french/russian fighter.

There is definitely some very interesting people out there.. Vialle is one of the nicest guys out there, always polite, zero attitude, transparent. People should applaud him for having the balls to come to the US with zero SX experience instead of booing him. Some sad human beings.

A sad aspect of this sport.....low class idiots who are an embarrassment to the US.

The 1st USGP at Carlsbad I was a 100lb skinny little kid and some guys were booing the euros ahead of the Americans and I told my cousin I wanted to go smack them. I couldn't believe how ignorant they were acting.

I feel like we’re talking about two different scenarios here. The Evan stuff is elevated based on the history of both his amateur career and his name (this is generally understood amongst the moto community I believe) whereas this particular grievance is about Tom’s nationality (or the “Tom booing people” have made it appear that way). Really don’t want to turn this into another Ferry thread but for what its worth, I don’t think their careers are really that comparable and everyone is piling on that Ferry thread to “prove” for lack of a better word, he was never that good. I respectfully disagree with that Ferry theory but this is just my 2 ¢. 

Been to a lot of nationals. Seen a lot of a-holes. It ain’t right, but it comes with the territory.
