That's not accurate. People are upset because last year he made the excuse of having to have surgery (much much more minor than what he did this week), but now that it's in the US where it's easier and he needs the positive PR, he's suddenly toughened up. Right or wrong, that's the optic.

Brash and cocky are great for the sport. Being aggressive on the track, jumping stuff others are not and his big whips and things are just what the sport needs right now. But lately it has been full douche mode, mostly on social media. Deegs can transcend the sport and do what MC did and take it to a new level of excitement and popularity. Or he can continue down the recent path and make it cringy. It could be at a crossroads and I hope he makes the right choice.

I love how some people think that a multi-time world champion coming to the US and struggling a bit somehow proves that the GPs are secretly slower than the US nationals and we’ve all just been fooled — and now Prado is “exposing” it. Come on. Anyone who’s actually watched him ride knows this isn’t the Prado we normally see. Something’s clearly off. If and when he gets it sorted, he’s seriously fast. I think we should be proud of him. Where he has come from, what he has done, where he is now, say what you want about the crowd or scene or speculating what he should do with his money, he has come far for barely being out of his teens and making his living half a world away from home. I think we should all pray for just a portion of that kind of success for any of our kids, no matter what profession they choose. No down votes from me, even though I think he's one of the cringiest characters we've ever had in this sport OFF the bike. As for everything else, he deserves all the money and accolades and whatever comes with it. The work is undeniable.

We understand that Brian's dick is lodged permanently in your throat but surely you can understand that people will take this apology with a huge grain of salt not out of malice but because of the context. The context - constant shit behaviour from the Deegan camp.

Some people here keep saying his antics are “good for the sport.” Nah, saying cringe shit like that on the podium will just keep moto a niche “redneck” sport that no one else respects. There’s a reason you don’t see F1 drivers talking like that. When you’re supposed to be the best of the best you act like you’ve been there.

The pass was fine. Its racing. What a piece of shit he is on the podium though. Davies is all class, deegs represents everything fucked up about this country. He's the dick sucker if I've ever seen it.

He was clearly faster at the end of the race, he just didn’t need to be that aggressive on his teammate. I respect his talent on the bike but he makes it impossible to like him. If he wants to be know as the fastest 250 rider then go out there and beat his rivals instead of taking out anybody he sees as a threat.

Didn’t weeks ago Deegan say “I give all my glory to god and can’t do it without him” to now saying “ya BROO SUCK IT!” Gutted for Cole but he’s got a bright future ahead.

He won the title, best / fastest rider, but the guy is a genuine fuckwitt.
