Answer Racing in Trouble?

6/30/2020 2:17pm
We have moved our operation from California to Texas. Operations for marketing, riders support, and product development are back underway at the Tucker headquarters. Striving to improve in all aspects of the Answer Racing experience is at the top of the brands priorities. Answer Racing is very proud of what was developed for the 2021 line. Look for the Professional and Amateur teams to debut the new products later this summer. If you have any questions please email info@answerracing.com
Thanks,
Answer Racing

Great news. We already lost JT, AXO, SINISALO, DG, etc from the formative years of our sport. Hope Answer can keep going.

Ironic that Suzuki and JGR are dying in motocross, and of course the gear brand that sponsors them is having issues as well.

I wonder how much that plays into it. Unsure

Is Answer still owned by Tucker Rocky? If so, I think things have been a bit unstable over there for quite a while now.

Answer was one of my first sponsors in about 1982. Garne boots (they may have been their first importers) and Silkolene oil. I used to get 3 or 4 of their chromoly bars at a time because they would bend every time they touched the ground. I often would drive by their office when I’d go to Indian Dunes. Sad news indeed.

I’m pretty sure, the first importers of Gaerne were Slater Bros.

I saw that actually, thanks Broc.

I never said they were failing, just stagnating...or possibly declining a little bit.

It’s obvious Answer is not doing as well as the other gear brands, is it not?

If you're really interested in these companies making a resurgence then Stop posting this garbage online. Do you think your post helps your cause?

Was mostly replying to your last sentence with my response

And to answer your last question. Agreed, but as are several others. Tough market for sure...

Yes. However Tucker-Rocky is now called Tucker. They did a rebranding/fresh start after the bankruptcy deal a few years back.

Matthes said during their SX wrap-up show that has it that JGR has a title sponsor and a new motorcycle brand already locked in for next year.

Everything in ML512's statement was false lol. If people don't know what is going on they should not speculate or start rumors. There is as much truth to his statement as saying "McGrath is coming back full time in 2021" haha.

...if you have some more specific inside information, then spill it please.

otherwise, i'll trust the word of the kid, he more often than not knows what's going on.

If you call someone reputable out for alleged false info, then be prepared to support it with some facts...

Not throwing any hate but if you work for them I hope you have your resume sharp. I am a former employee of The MAG Group that Tucker. I can tell you for a fact that they have lost a lot of great people and brands over the last 3 to 4 years. Good luck because I am truly hoping you guys do well. There was a time not long ago that the MAG Group and all of it's associated companies like Tucker and Answer were set up perfectly to be the dominant force in the industry but those days are long gone.

The stories I could tell...…………..
