The way Tomac looked over the weekend and how he literally blew by people with such speed, what are the chances he wins out the rest of the season? Meaning, he wins all 6 remaining rounds (all 7 if you include last weekend). I say he wins at least 3 of the 6 remaining races, minimum. The guy looked impressive, to say the least.
Now, SLC dirt and conditions are almost perfect for Eli. So to me, he is the clear favorite to win the title. I just don't see him running the table. Listening to Ken's post race interview, I don't think he thinks he's out of it yet.

And it sure seem like he's finally figured out how to bring his consistent success in MX, indoors to SX.
I could see Webb maybe sneaking in a win or two, especially in the last few races if Tomac is content to manage points.
But no, I don't see Roczen finishing in front of Tomac, at least until it doesn't matter anymore.
I would have said the same in the past about anticipating Eli's self-inflicted mistakes, but I think this new Dad vibe will only help his game. As I mentioned in the Sunday practice thread, that focus / confidence / energy in those initial months after bringing a newborn into the world is formidable. If they could bottle that, it would be the ultimate energy / focus drink.
Going with Eli winning 3 out of the next 4 rounds, allowing him to manage the last few rounds for the championship.
Normally when he gets dropped the wheels come off and he goes nowhere. He got dropped, pulled it together and went to the front. When did you ever see that out of him?
I can think of 7 races times $300,000 per wins reasons why he wants to win 7 straight!
