Train for 3 months + factory bike = top 10.

These are the only guys who could beat him:

Tomac
Roczen
Musquin
Webb
Anderson
Barcia
Cianciarulo
Osborne
Wilson
Plessinger

And the bottom five are a big maybe.

I was very surprised when Villopoto finished 8th at the MEC a couple years ago. There is your barometer.

A serious effort on factory equipment probably top 5. But he has already done much better so whats the point? Give him a break, life goes on and old man time never stops.

Rain or shine at Millville, RC Leads both motos at the 20 minute mark. At the finish that,s a question mark. At 15 I had a 73 in vertical, test at division 1 university at 38 yrs old I had a 58 in vertical. Your muscles don,t get the same oxygen or whatever. At 48 you can still have decent physical ability.

RC could get himself into shape. That's no issue. The issue would be finding 24 year old reflexes on a world class stage. He would do worse than you think and I think he's one of the baddest alpha dogs in all of sports.

I really think he would be in the group behind Eli, Kenny, Marvin and Cooper. He has the will to win mindset.

Ricky would make Tomac cry. I’m a believer in RC. Whatever he puts his mind to, he succeeds. His announcing went from D+ to A- in one season. Plus he is funny as hell, I love it when he trolls people on Twitter
You are saying rc would win the title?

Yeah getting older, doesn’t,t make it easier. There is a lot of easy reflex exercises . Speed jump rope to warm up and tire you out. Then Do 10m track starts, small rubber ball, racquet ball, dog ball, anything that takes quickness, have someone throw knifes at yaSmile maybe skip the last one. Retired Packers have a Gym at a warehouse, they retrain kids body’s to have much quicker twitch muscles. Big advantage in sports.

Being preperated is key.

I watched RC take out Anderson in the head to head races at the NZ supercross last year. Now I know that's 100% apples and oranges but I'm just saying, the speed is there and I don't think a 4th-10th is out of the question.

If he showed up he would win, he wouldn’t race if he couldn’t win.

If he finished anywhere in the top 20 I'd be impressed, but can't seriously imagine why RC would even contemplate it.

Oh well if he's fully "preperated" that's completely different! 😂

Theres never been a bigger animal than RC, id say he wouldnt have a problem knocking on the top 5 if he was prepared.
having going through some old pulp app pods today theres a really cool interview with marc de ruver (what an awesome dude btw) and says RC`s the best ever. pretty cool from a euro

If Reed had the desire to train, who here thinks he couldnt be Top 10 outdoors? With that in mind, who thinks that RC with a factory bike, time to train , and the desire to race couldnt be competitive with Reed? RC would be Top 10 every moto and top 5 in some IMO. If he stayed injury free and still had the desire, he would be pissing off top 5 guys by the end of the season. Guy Cooper raced nationals over 40. John Down did it, Barry Carsten did it. Not impossible for nearly anyone, and an easy feat for the GOAT

Where is reed finishing and he hasn’t taken how many years off? I don’t think it would go well for RC, goat or not. Time waits for no one.

If he could do it on a 2 stroke, he could race and still save his “legacy”, maybe race but no points.

Wherever he ended up he’d be a winner in most folks mind.

If he couldn't win...he'd take out someone who could.

Top 10 all day long.... 4th -10th guys right now seem perfectly happy with their results. I think they would be easy prey for a prepared RC
