Thanks Ping!!

Just read the final “Ask Ping” on Racer X.

Sad to see an end to this, enjoyed every one of these that I read.

For sure. I always liked Ping as a racer and enjoyed his work with Racer X. Thanks.

The article said that it's his last article writing for RacerX. Is he sticking around for the RacerX YouTube content or has he moved on to something else altogether?

Ping stops by from time to time, maybe he could clarify. His goodbye to Cudby would have me thinking youtube content as well.

Thanks for everything David! Was a Friday morning ritual logging on to Racer-x and reading Ask Ping. I proud myself on being quite the smart ass, but you are on a whole other level my friend!

That assistant manager position at the Temecula Chick-fil-A must have finally opened up...

He’s a fireman now right? I assume he’ll use that free time to start another side business since they always seem to have at least 2-3 of them.
In case anyone misunderstands that I assure you it wasn’t meant sarcastically, those people just don’t sit still!

Ping is a good dude, I've emailed him personally a few times and he always responded. I made a charitable donation a couple years back and Ping sent me one of his day in the dirt TLD jerseys (signed). Best of luck to you Ping in your next venture.

Not surprising to me. Ping has a lot of jobs and a wife and kids...something has got to give to balance everything. I’ll miss Ask Ping....but the Whiskey Throttle Show is taking off and who knows what other opportunities might be knocking on his door.

Looking forward to him being the “guest” on the show one day soon to hear his whole story. He’s worn so many hats in moto. The few bits he’s dropped about his Dad remind me of mine and I bet he’s got a ton of great stories we haven’t heard yet.

First noticed him winning the intermediate class at the Golden States in 92.

Don’t want to sound like too much of a nut hugger....but thanks for all the laughs.

Pretty much the only reason I would log on to racer X. Not a dig to racer X, but I just wouldn’t ever frequent the site other than for Ask Ping. Dude is living life and appears to be doing well

I'm bummed Ping is checking out at RacerX but he's got his own gig going plus another career as a fire fighter, plus he has to get ready to beat down all the punks that will trying to date his daughters in the next few years. Dude is busy! Thanks for all the laughs in Ask Ping!

We'll Ping , not sure how far you're stepping away or for how long....but I wish you the best! Always loved reading your stuff , dug your insight and loved your bike / product videos. I hope you stick around some what , as you're one of the few I admire and appreciate what they say. Good luck at whatever you're doing.

Jeffro

Kinda seems weird. I'd have guessed he could write those in his sleep and it could go on forever. Maybe they weren't getting as many submissions?

Thanks Ping for both the laughs and the perspective. But, how do you give up the bikes, and the bike builds? Dang it, you must be serious about moving on!

Only reason I ever visited RacerX on a regular basis. Bummed we’re losing this as it always brightened up my Friday mornings. We’re going to miss this Ping!

Answering 5 questions a week does not take a lot of time. He could do that while he is at work, firemen have a lot of down time!

I don't think we have seen or heard the last of Ping. He has too much good stuff to contribute.
