If it was that pc rider, he's been going there for many years. A bit of entitlement maybe, should of just paid.

Fine you want to sneak out and try to get away with it. Don’t act like a whiny little bitch when caught. Man up and pay the difference.

Pretty much what Slip said. Kind of a shitty thing the kid did , but he's also a young kid. Not really an excuse , but Christ....kids do stupid stuff.

I know that the 4 years I ran an indoor track , I had near 3500 member's and it was hard to keep track of everyone , but I caught a few scammer's over the years. I had 4 guy's show up with one bike , put thr wrist band on the bike while they all took turns on the bike. They got a few motos in when I finally realized what was going on. I went and confronted them and their excuse was " I thought we only needed to pay for the bike entry , not the amount of people? "........I said " That's bullshit and you know it , pack your shit , get out and don't come back here ". We had all sorts of pricing structures set up for the guy who rode once a month , or for the guy who rode 4 x a week. Tell you one thing.....running a track for 4 years , you meet just about every type of person there is. Good and bad.

Why the hell would you charge a factory rider to come ride your track? That would be like the local YMCA charging Lebron a $5 dollar guest pass to go shoot around.

Lame as all get out to blow them out on social media like that.

He isnt them.. And trying to ride free, acting like a entitled dickhead doesnt help. Pay or go ride somewhere else.

Seeing factory riders at milestone is not rare.

Fair point but tax write off doesn’t mean free for them
I love the “you can write that off” line. A tax write off is a 30% discount, not a freebie. People are clueless. *totally not even...

Exactly, that’s why I point that out. As a small business owner it would be awesome if all write offs were fr, it it doesn’t work like that unfortunately

Allow me to explain why that anolgy is completely wrong.
Dick beater James shows up for a shoot around just to shoot around costs the YMCA nothing in way of maintenance. There is zero cost associated to that. So maybe next week DBJ brings another 10 Pros with him since its free YMCA again has zero cost for him coming there. Maybe even makes some cash cause now people show up and pay to be where DBJ is and to watch him.
Now
Tomac shows up to milestone rips on there track for free there is a cost to that in maintenance. So say they let eli ride for free and say hey rise as much as you want anytime it on us. Next week he brings AC and the pc team they all tear up the track that day that milestone now has to rebuild prep water. ECT ECT for free? No matter what with moto you have to pay pro or Joe. Now if you work somthing out with the track that's on them.

If it was Marchbanks that would make me very sad. Don't give me the excuse of him being young and dumb...he's a professional racer on an elite race team. Act like it. His results have already been a bit disappointing and if he doesn't get his shit together this upcoming season and produce podiums he may be searching for a 9-5 job before long.

It doesn't seem that we know for sure it was him and I really hope it wasn't. For someone to do that really shows their character or lack thereof.

From a business stand point, it’s a good way to expense income. If a guy rides milestone 20-25 times a season, it can be very beneficial.

YMCA should be have tax exempt status and doesn't need dozers and water trucks to operate. I'll bet their insurance is a hell of a lot cheaper too. Who ever it was has the BMOC type of entitlement going on. Wants to ride on a track that has restrictions and wants it for free. He's old enough to know better and should have been raised better than that.

You have to have a pro license to ride the sx track. You think it's a sustainable business practice to build and maintain a supercross track and then let most of the riders ride for free and only charge Tapia and the deuce deuce to ride? LOL

Why the hell does it attract business? I don't give 2 shits where the "pros" are practicing. I'm going where I want to ride and at the most reasonable price. If you are going to the track to gargle the pros balls then just stick to the stands and be a fan boy.

The funny thing is that you actually know who he is though lol there’s no need to try and be a hero on vital.

Regardless who it was everyone is over blowing this and to be fair if a factory rider isn’t allowed to ride milestones sx track it’s definitely safe to say it’s not going to have any effect on their career.

It's no different that walking into a store, grabbing something off of the shelf, sticking it down your pants, and walking out the door with it.

Your comment that "A tax write off is a 30% discount" isn't accurate either.

So where do you draw the line on who pays and who doesn’t?

Everyone pays! The tracks need the revenue in order to remain open.

Wow! I understand they are kids but once asked to pay the rider should have been apologetic and paid. If he was on my team I would make him go back pay, apologize and help with track prep or flag for an entire day. That’s what my pops would have done if I pulled some bullshit like that.

Also, unless someone is sure of the riders identity it’s not cool mentioning their name in this thread. Painting someone in this light on speculation is not fair and can still do serious damage to their reputation. IMO🤷🏼‍♂️

The problem with that, the track is built just for pro riders with a current license. So if you let pro's ride for free, it generates zero revenue for upkeep. You foot the bill. Plus, its Milestone. Nobody goes there to see a pro ride. Its a daily, very common occurrence at most all of the socal tracks. There is zero novelty to it.
