My wife has a Specialized eBike for the road. It’s great! We did 30 miles yesterday at about 18.5 mph and she can keep up while still burning 800 calories. The only time we fight on rides now is when she goes 20mph up steep climbs and leaves me behind. 😂
We have millions of acres of Everglades for people to hike and bird watch, and we have only like 5 MTB parks within 2 hours drive. We have miles and miles of parks and beaches to run and do other shit, so many stick and ball parks and dog parks. Let the MTB parks alone and let us ride ebikes and regular bikes. Just limit it to something under 25 mph and you must pedal. Once you lose the pedals and have only a throttle, then you gotta go to another track.
With his current battery he does about 20km on a full charge and rides around 60km/h.
According to google 3KW is the equivalent of 4HP.
I’ve only ever demo’d a turbo levo and loved it.
It’s an XXL and weights 52lbs but honestly cannot feel the extra weight when riding. I had a new Capra 27.5 last year and this bike is more poppy/playful/agile feeling than it was.

How was YT’s customer service?
Had my Capra last year and the shitty RaceFace PF92 bottom bracket blew up on the second or third ride, I upgraded it. When I told YT it had happened they said I should have contacted them and they would have warrantied it for me. It was a part I intended to upgrade it anyways so I wasn’t worried about it.
Bought a Tues this summer and I’ve been breaking a lot of spokes on the carbon E13 wheelset. Contacted E13 about it directly and they’ve offered to send me a full set of new spokes. I’m tired of having to replace them after almost every ride though, it’s not really a good solution for me, so I’ve just recently reached out to YT for some assistance. I’m expecting a new replacement wheelset, as others have received. I plan on upgrading to a WeAreOne set this off-season.
The Fox Transfer dropper post on the Decoy arrived with a dead charge, they have a high pressure nitrogen tube that is not serviceable. I sent it in to Fox and had it back in my hands in less than a week.
We’ll see what their resolution is with the wheels, all I know is I don’t expect I should have to continue to deal with breaking spokes constantly, it’s frustrating. At this point a new wheelset would be a nice goodwill gesture and many others have gotten that type of treatment, so I have high expectations.
Which will reflect on all riders of motorcycle s getting more sh it banned by tree hugging dirt people.
