The bike isn't bad at all. They never took the cylinder and head off. Stock sticker on swingarm. It will turn out pretty sweet for a pretty limited budget

Cant wait to see the final masterpiece...
Excited to see the bike finished!
Just for info, it was a bit tricky so if it helps a little, it was quite a few years ago but if i remember correctly:
the complete front of the yzf will mount easily, but with the yzf stock clamps the lenght of the bike will be a bit shorter, which you may not like as you are tall (and you won't be able to turn fully without touching the radiators), imo yzf aftermarket clamps may work better.
Also, if you keep the current yz clamps, then the yzf fork tubes diameters at the top will be too small, so you will need a recent yz stock top clamp.
Otherwise, between brackets ; the complete back of the yzf will mount as well (except the rear shock - here a stock semi or factory 2010 2013 yzf 250 shock would fit perfectly if i remember well), it is a little improvement but it won't look stock or factory replica anymore. The yzf rear wheel alone won't fit at all. And the yzf front wheel will be need the spacers and another bearing because they changed the diameter 2 or 3 years ago (a yzf front wheel from 2014-6 should mount directly with the yzf spacers - 2010-13 i am 100% sure). I am just saying that because you may find yzf parts more easily ; these yzf parts are also a bit lighter, not that it matters much anyway.
Good luck!
If so, someone set up a GoFundMe and lets all chip in to see DV12 line up.

Blue powder coated frame looks so awesome on the old steelies!
Even had this super rare Noleen pipe!
Unfortunately, during my move from NJ to California in 2015, the moving truck caught on fire and the bike was complete destroyed..... I miss that bike. It was so fun to ride. Had a fresh ESR 345cc kit in it as well.
C'mon le Cobra, you can do it !
nice
