I am noticing that as well. ET seems to like the fast tracks now more than the sand. Pala and today.

Herlings, with only one week on the bike would mop the floor with him.

But could he make it a week on the bike before getting hurt?

I'm jk, I like herlings and definitely respect his abilities

I'd like to see the two go at it. But, Tomac has proved he's less injury prone than Herlings.

You’re not wrong, you have seen it a few times this year. Roczen can still do things on a bike that are insane but he can’t do it for 35 minutes right now, and Tomac is the best closer in the game. Those two are head and shoulder better than everyone in the states when healthy. The problem is only one is healthy and Tomac hasn’t dominated this year like last yet he has a huge lead. Safe to say Tomac is on another level.

You are right, he was the fastest guy. He’s the fastest guy, more often than not, but his CRASHING doesn’t put him on another level. Neither does coming from behind. Look, Tomac has the speed to be the best, but until he can take some lessons from Dungey’s career, he’s not going to dominate like he’s capable of doing. I honestly just don’t care for these threads, he’s not on a different level, but he did win the race and could go wire to wire in the next moto. Next level is 24-0 and only 2 guys have ever accomplished this feat and both were NEXT LEVEL. Just my 2 cents... let the down votes begin ! Tongue
Where are you getting this from? He has been consistent in getting points over Musquin in just about every race. He now has a pretty commanding lead in this championship. This ride was absolutely next level, and I think you need to see the wizard bro.

The more Tomac wins the more he is inconsistent, he crashes to much, he's a head case, can't handle the pressure, gets up too slow, his pants fall off, Roczens faster, Marvins going to win this year, He doest have a SX title, he can't start, Baggetts gonna break him. He takes too many chances, He doesn't try hard enough. Hes a chocker,He doesn't deserve to be on MXDN team. All things I have read over and over on Vital.

Just for fun I checked his outdoor stats from 2013 to current.
250 class. 12 races, 12 podiums, 7 wins. 1 250 title.
450 class. 56 races, 45 podiums, 21 wins. 3 450 titles ( most likely).
One more win and he's 4th on list off all time premier class wins. 6 wins away from 3rd all time.

Grand Prix. 3 races, 2 wins, 1 second. Won 5 of 6 motos. ( Only US rider to win a premier class GP in about 30 years if I'm not mistaken).

Most exciting racer to watch since Stewart and Carmichael.

He's one of the most consistent and highest win rate riders in the history of the sport. And he does it in MX, SX, even GPs.

And it looks like he has a couple more years of wins left in him. Enjoy it he's one of the few greats.

What? I like his articles if for nothing else, he likes to go outside of conventional thinking.
Yup, that's actually all he's doing: looking desperately for an iconoclast angle to show he exists, even if it's total BS -which it usually is.

Honestly this is the same Eli we have seen his whole career. Look how many times Kenny has gotten a great start, got in the lead within first lap or two, had a 10+ second lead on 2nd and guys like Tomac or BB4 (on 250's) ran him down with 3-4 laps to go and gap him. This has been happening for 7 years or so. Put Kenny with the starts Eli gets and he doesnt move up a ton and it shows in the results. Marv is animal that can move his way forward also very good also that has been shown multiple times.

Anyone who really thinks that a rider can be any faster than tomac when he's on is completely delusional. I dunno if you watched the race yesterday, but what he does in the last 10 minutes is out of this world. There is only one thing he's missing, that is getting good starts and slicing through the riders like Ken in the first laps, but I kinda like that because tomac is pure entertainment like that.
How the crowd went crazy yesterday and how tomac charged left my jaw open. Hope I can watch a national live when I'll visit the US any time. I saw a couple german gps and it wasn't even close like this yesterday in terms of fans. (apart from the after race screams, some ppl are really something else..).

Watching Tomac seem to muscle that Kawi around, carry momentum into the deep deep ruts while keeping power to the ground and accelerating through and out of every corner is very cool.

Watching Kenny "finesse sprint" his way around the track and through the pack on the opening laps, making other riders look slow, is also very very cool.

Both classes the dudes looked to by flying yesterday.

Well said. And to add to that, he almost never gets injured. He may not win every race, but he knows how to ride within his limits. He’s seen the end of almost every series he’s started.

Kenny makes those passes in the first few corners.

If Eli could do that everyone would be fucked.

Imagine how these stats would be if he actually started inside the top 10 every once in a while.
The guy is an absolute beast.
I just hope Kenny figures out what's wrong and we get to see another full season of these two battling before they retire

He's got to be considered on another level now. He's broken and still dominated.

Imagine how bad he'd have crushed the field by if he wasn't broken by Cooper........

(This Cooksey gaffe has some potential to be awesome)

Dude, will you relax with that nonsense?

Anyone with half a brain can tell Coop is just lulling them into a fall sense of security. He's just waiting to unleash the Alpha at just the right moment...
