I think Tim "Gasser" may have 222's number.

Gasser hits the deck alot. That will determine if has has 222's number or not.

As you mentioned, we shall see.

Ac nails the starts and is so consistent. Hard to bet against him.

He probably does. I'm sure they text each other now and then.

When Cairoil falls it's usually small stuff like Portugal. When Gajser falls it's usually a yard sale. That's the difference in points right now.

Didn't like how 222 rode yesterday, same as last year on this very track. Horrendous series of little mistakes as he was struggling to keep up with 243, ... as horrendous as a second spot on the podium can be obviously

AC222 is the euro dungey

Fast enough to win a lot - but generally smart enough to ride within his limits and finish the title

Tiga was amazing his title year - so he knows how to get it done as well.

I think it will be a great battle

Watch 222 GoPro video --- AC has a little problem in a corner and Gasser sails past.....not sure who has whose number but that was impressive.

Both are racing at the very top level, small errors can make the difference between the two...yes Tiga has had a couple of nasty ones, but last weekend he was unbeatable. A great battle so far!

I think 222 has an advantage on the softer tracks, but Gajser is his equal or better on the harder terrain.

Great racing, and that's what I want to see each week

Nope. He has his own: 243.

You can't share a number. This is basic stuff, guys.

I like em both. I’m usually going for whoever is in the chase. Then I switch when they pass haha.

Mmmm... AC has like 34 points on him after 6 races, 11 rounds to go, and maybe close to half left are sand or sandy-ish races?

Gasjer is going to have to win a lot, get great starts and stop crashing, because AC is more than likely going to do the same.

The problem is AC has crashed and made muiltple mistakes this year and the worse he has done is 2-2.

Gasjer was insanely quick in his first year 450s until he hit the deck hard, he has been quiet for a few years since, good to see he's getting his confidence back.

The 243 makes the 222 ride over his comfort zone. Great season.

It looks like maybe Cairoli hurts a little from last years fight with Herlings. I think he wants it sooooo very bad this year that it makes him ride a little too hard and make some mistakes. History shows that Gajser crashes big style when the pressure is on, so really Cairoli doesn’t need to push as hard as he does. Chances are that 243 will get injured as the season goes on. It’s amazing though that Cairoli is still so hungry and willing to put it all on the line. He’s stil just so ferocious!

Cairoli has a baby on the way and nothing whatsoever to prove to anyone. He is total class. Maybe he looks at this year as the last one for him. Maybe that’s why he’s pushing so hard? He’s getting older, baby on the way, married, Herlings back and maybe winning again next year. Plus I wonder if he’s gonna make room for Prado on the 450. I think it would be awesome if he could just hang it up at the end of this year and live his life. He’s earned it at least as much as anyone else. Having said that, if he carries on for yet another year, awesome. it’s been a hell of a career to witness.

I think that's it right there. Plus Cairoli has a edge in race craft -- he doesn't crash as often, and he certainly doesn't crash as hard.

Herlings is hanging out in Monaco with the Rich and Famous!

Gasser has the speed, will he have the patience? Time will tell!

This place needs a lot more Bobbym and Hillbilly!
