Agree,

Sometimes the title winners stick to their canned speeches.

It was refreshing to see df just let go. his joy was contagious

Congrats!!!

The booing is just the low IQ mouth breathers. Dylan is smart enough to ignore them.

Like most I am as bummed for AC as I am pumped for DF. Hope he gets over the “I don’t speak English well enough” fear and goes on Pulp this week. It would be great to hear from him. I don’t care if he’s and English major or not. Congrats, Dylan.

You could really see those tears in his eyes, all the hard work paid off, specially leaving everything behind him in france to chase his dreams. Great dude.
He's my pick for the outdoors aswell.

Edit: fuck all racists.
They were booing Dylan because he's white?

Only a tiny percentage of American fans do that kind of shit. A very tiny percentage. Roczen is probably the most popular and loved rider of them all. A German. Look at Chad Reed's popularity here. I could list more examples all day. You shouldn't paint all Americans with a shit brush just because of a few assholes who were also probably drinking too much.
And yes there are PLENTY of disrespectful, asshole mxgp fans out there that love to trash talk American riders. I see them all the time in youtube comment sections and other places.
Ferrandis is cheered by 100 people for every one asshole that boo's him. The vast majority of American mx fans are happy for the guy even though some are just as bummed for AC. Every country has their jackasses. Not just America.
I'm sorry I disagree with your 'Ferrandis is cheered by 100 people for every one asshole that boo's him.' A quick scan down Instagram this morning was more like 'for every 1 american happy for Ferrandis, there was 100 assholes putting him down and giving him shit'. No i'm not joking either, it's all on there for you to read.

I'm genuinely gutted for AC, without the slip up the Championship was FINALLY his. Almost just as gutted for Mitch Payton, he must be hurting following the past couple of weeks.

However, really pleased for Ferrandis. A proper Championship winning season; right there at the end only a couple of points down ready to take it. Seriously well deserved and I can't wait to see him crush it outdoors.

Yeah, I thought it was booing at first, until he pointed out the French fans singing. I'm pretty sure that's all we were hearing.

It was his crew cheering and chanting the French anthem. So bad ass for the dude. What a mountain of emotion.... kinda took the wind out of Chase’s title celebration unfortunately. Either way Chase will get the checks in the mail and his name on the wall of 250 champions. Great night.

He was the best rider through all the rounds. As was Sexton. Like both these guys a lot and I hope they have a long and successful career. I like AC too and it sucks for him, but the best man won. He has a bright future as well. What a crazy turn of events.

Lame to boo the guy. He rode his heart out. Feel for ac but he’s 2 years younger than Dylan , so I wonder if he stays 250 next year?

Congratulations Dylan Ferrandis... Awesome season!!

Who was the guy ferrandis was talking about during the press conference? A French reporter asked him how it felt to beat Americans on their soil, and he was explaining how he was proud to do it and that it’s hard to come over here, he also said yesterday some big name guy in the industry wrote “go AC” on his instagram.

so this french guy ferrandis works his ass off his whole life to come over to america and pursuits his dreams to become a ama sx champion and when he finally makes it, the crowd is booing him??!!

There is something wrong with american fans definitely, you wouldn't see this kind of ignorance and childish behavior in the MxGPs.
Ok , look.......I can't stand the booing either , but you obviously haven't followed the MXGP stuff for to long. There were races back in the day when American's were getting rocks and bottles thrown at them during their moto's over there. And booing......go back to the past 5 - 6 years of MXoN's , and you'll hear plenty of boo's coming from the crowd toward's American rider's.

As far as what happened last night......I'm happy as heck Dylan won last night. I was rooting for Adam , but not because he's an American , but because of the shit luck that dude has suffered over the past few years , and I wanted to see him finally win one. Dylan's podium interview was inspiring and you could see the emotion's coming out big time , which was super cool , and I for one send a huge congrat's to him.

And back to the first point.......I hate booing , and wouldn't do it to any rider. But that shit happens every where , so don't kid yourself!

Really bummed for AC, I wanted him to finally win that title. Him and Eli are very similar. I was rooting hard for Adam, and to see him throw it away and hand over our SX title to the Frenchy makes it even worse.

Not a fan of DF as you guys know. Not a fan of booing him either but I am glad DV’s rider accomplished this.

Happy for Webb but bummed for Eli at the same time
Hope KR can get an outdoors title in 2019.

Shame on crowd for booing him also. Assholes.

Sexton is kind of not the most likeable
Guy in the world but congrats him also.
Here, here.

Coming into the season I was rooting for Mitch's guys, but after A2 I had a feeling Monster Yamaha would be in serious title contention.

Always though AC would get injured and lose by default. Nope, these guys fought it out to the last round.

I give applause to them both. Title was decided as fair and square as it gets.

I am really happy for Ferandis too.....but still bummed for Adam. That was heartbreaking to watch.

Agree with the point on people booing Dylan. It's ASSHOLE Americans like that which give the rest of us a bad name.

Nobody was booing Ferrandis. That's fake news, right there.

End of day, Dylan and Colt were the most exciting guys to watch in the West. Those boys have "it".

Go back and watch the after- race again (when Will starts interviewing him. There are CLEAR and LOUD boos. Then later, Dylans French buds were singing for him.

Ferrandis is an Awsome rider and DV is an Icon
In the sport, i personally dont care if they are American or not, im not personally into nationality rivalries and genuinely dont care where people are from, but for some reason i feel like those two kind of embrace the rivalry and have kind of an us against the USA type of attitude, Maybe im wrong?
I dont Feel that way about Marvin or Ken or Reed.

If a few give the rest a bad name, then the problem isn’t just with the few but with those generalizing about the majority. This isn’t an American thing or Europe thing, there are assholes everywhere in the world (except maybe Canada). It’s not like Americans are bigger assholes than the rest of the world.

Yes, that video is from the 4/15, and the comment "Go AC" from 2 days ago.

I did look at many posts on Instagram about Ferrandis winning the title. Practically every comment I saw by Americans was positive and congratulatory. I don't agree with you a bit and I saw many comment sections full of positive stuff from americans towards Ferrandis. I saw nothing close to the negativity you mention. I'm sure there is some here and there, but you will find that with American riders as well. I don't think Ferrandis is being hated on to the degree you describe, and I don't think that what hate he is receiving is any more than American riders receive.
