Maybe James is holding the helmet with his kid next to him because he realized it’s time to hang up his helmet and focus on his future with his family.

Maybe Seven is coming out with a helmet, but that’s not what I got from it.
Maybe he is just holding his helmet having memories of his racing days maybe it has nothing to do with a new helmet I saw a video of Michael Jordan sitting and just looking at his championship rings! What does that mean.

Not for a title, and don`t say 07 when RC only raced select races and was leading when he retired.

He quit before James could beat him, fairly coming knowledge. BTW I’m a big RC fan he is the greatest racer of all time and James the greatest rider.

It's absurd how much immature nonsense gets said on here about him. If he announces retirement, okay fine, but why in the world would anyone not hope he would come back? Stop with the being silly and cute nonsense. This forum needs to grow up and mature - I wouldn't blame Stewart for saying screw you all. Seeing all what's been posted here gives him ample justification. If you have no interest in his return, just shut up already. We've heard it.

And for thr record it "fairly coming knowledge" that RC beat him in 05, 06 and half a series on 07.

Brah, you trying to tell me something about this sport is laughable. I like RC, as I said he is the GOAT! Forever and ever but RC also admitted he quit because of Stew in his Sam Jones interview. RCs half season in 07 BTW was his best season as far as how he looked on the bike as well. RC was in the ablsoute peak of his career then vs Stew who was 20-21. We all got robbed of RC vs Stew battles. 07 MX could have been legendary, even with Stew crashing and making mistakes it was real close. Hell Stew had to tip over for RC to win there last race together. But at 20-21 RC made plenty of mistakes too and he wasn’t racing anyone near the caliber of RC vs Stew. Look at RC in 01MX he crashed out of every first Moto it seemed for weeks before finally realizing who he was and started killing those guys.

259 outdoors?
Honestly I hope not. This is the last taste we got of JS7 outdoors "healthy", I don't see how things could have improved for him since then. It would be cool to see him out there but he has taken enough hard soil samples for a career. Say goodbye to the sport with class and go enjoy the family.

125 Champion in his first season as a Pro.

As did RV and Carmichael.....
And reed
Reed won a 125 outdoor title? We aren't talking about regional sx titles racing half the field

They won't blackout Stew, they need the clicks for advertising revenue.

Remember in the movie A Christmas Story when Ralphie was pissed off after he decodes the secret radio message because it turns out to just be an advertisment for Ovaltine?

That's going to be Vital when the big announcement turns out to just be an advertisment for a new Seven helmet.

So Park Boys you think RC retired when he did because of Stewart?
Nothing to do with announcing it months early when he found out that his wife was pregnant and his last race was the day after she gave birth???

Edit: this is in response to Park Boys post before the posts above.

Cmon man, I don’t buy into the helmet announcement guess, but I still thought the reference was hilarious.

Either way, I’m anxiously tuning in with my decoder ring on the 29th.

That's exactly what is happening here. 100%

Now, there may be a twist. He may say with all of his injuries he ...something whatever etc... a better helmet would have kept him on the track.
