I’ve watched the Instagram video several times now. I think those of you who are guessing Seven brand helmet are correct. Either way, it’s nice to have him say anything at all.

Those of you who think he’s making a comeback, come on....it’s nice to dream big, but completely unrealistic.

125 Champion in his first season as a Pro.

As did RV and Carmichael.....
Cool, make a thread about them. This is a thread about James Stewart. Nobody said it’s never been done. Don’t be a child.

People are sooo damn sensative when it comes to stew! There are literally thousands of threads on here about the guy, or turn into one. Y'all need to loosen up when James is discussed!

Maybe James is holding the helmet with his kid next to him because he realized it’s time to hang up his helmet and focus on his future with his family.

Maybe Seven is coming out with a helmet, but that’s not what I got from it.

Someone mentioned it a few pages back but they were spot on. Fatherhood changes everything for most guys. Your appearance, attitude, outlook all became a a little different. Im a few years older than James and about 6 months ago became a dad and it’s for sure done that to me. I’m stoked to see James walk away in one piece though. Sure I’d love to see him race ready but man Id be worried for him if he did take another hit to the head. He has rag dolled so many times, eventually it takes its toll wether it’s now or later down the road. Nobody will ever be as exciting or talented. First time I saw him was 1995 at LL on the KX60 and KX80 in the 7-11 classes. It was crazy to see the things he was doing on the 60 and on the kx80 he was barley able to touch the pegs, but gave an older Travis Pastrana and Shane Bess good run for there money to claim 2nd overall to TP199. In 2000 at LL in the 80 14-15 class it was clear to see by then James was a one in a million type talent. I’ve never seen a mini rider go that fast! Ever. I watched RC when he was that age in 1995 in that same class... RC was impressive and unbeatable but he was no James Stewart. James in 2000 in the 80 14-15 and super mini class was epic stuff to witness. And same thing in 2001 when he hit the KX125. He crushed the competition like nobody I ever seen at the ranch winning every moto in 125A and modified schoolboy 12-15 class. Very fortunate for all the incredible moments watching him come up thru the ranks. He was always a shy kid it seemed and kept to himself in there motorhome parked in the very back parking areas at LL most years, but he was always smiling when you did catch him hanging by the creek or in the pool hall. One year maybe 2000 or 2001 James got into a fun but intense golf cart battle with me, my buddy Sonny, and him. He was in his Kawasaki mule, us in our golf cart plastered with moto stickers. James saw us flying thru the woods on this make shift track we made and wanted to join in on the chaos. There must of been 15 kids on pit bikes and a about a half dozen golf carts spinning laps WFO thru the tress down by the creek before you get to Area 3 parking...we were smashing each other in the corners and having a great time, all of us dying laughing the whole time. It was good times! James is a bad ass and a legend. Nothing but respect

Wish my hearing wasn't so bad. Even with the volume turned up I couldn't make out what he was saying. Blush

I forget who interviewd Mookie but he did say when James was ready to talk it would break the internet. I have long expected the reason James vanished was because of concussion related symptoms. I'm glad he is coming out and opening up to his fans. James still have a ton of true fans that would just like for him to say goodbye.

So on 3-29-19 the fastest man to ever race a dirt bike in AMA competition will announce his retirement, some demand that he should of done so 3 yrs ago, not one of us have walked in his Nikes or gaernes, he was not the most accomplished, not the most friendliest , not the most humble, "ohh he ate dirt too much " , he pushed limits vitards, in the way he chose to live his life , and retirement, but " only" the fastest ever. Our lives are not a race and James, you are on top in my book . For credit seen the Hannah's and lackeys and mcgraths and Carmichael and the yeah I said it Jo Jo Kellers all through the east coast.
Lol to the dude that thumb down this, I'm not here for likes I would seriously love to here your input on motocross for the last...
