This is very tempting. I actually like how I have my 04 kx set up but I am curious how this restyle kit would look. So it just bolts right up?

I really think the kx looks better in OEM trim.

Looks like it needs a new seat to go with the new plastic?

Please people, leave your 03+ Kawasaki’s alone. They are fantastic looking bikes in stock trim.

It's definitely better then previous kits. They should sell pretty good for $335. But I like the original look on mine for now.

That's not stock.

It comes with a blue, red or black seat.

Hmm... tempting. Thinking of doing a facelift on my '04 pinger for this years MTA 2 Stroke Championship:

Save your facelift money and hire Mike Brown.

It does look pretty good, but I think the blockhead-mobile will stay in original trim..

Can’t get in to any restyle kit... maybe because I’m old and have a connection/memory of those days.

I really like it, and would prob do it if I had that era Kaw. But, truth be told, there are some damn nice restos on here keeping the plasic stock. Those were great looking machines to begin with, just by swapping a color here and there, those bikes still look great in stock plastics. The 03-08 front fender/plate combo looks great on a 99-02 gen bike as well...

It's a restyle kit modeled after some already outdated 2016-2018 plastics.

LOL, can I get a 2019-style kit for my '17?

I dig the option and price for the kit, but I wouldn't give up the nostalgia the oem look brings... KX125's seem to be ultra rare here in Utah, but one day I will find one that isn't a total over prices POS and build a replica. This guy did a killer job:

Or.. (minus the monster logo's, not a fan of them on anything)

I am happy with my current set up but I will probably get the restyle kit and give it a try eventually. If I do not like it I will go back to oem trim.

Like many others have said, I'm not sure if I can jump on the KX re-style bandwagon:
