I have a feeling Bowers retaliated to a pass that happened during this heat race. Barcia had just made a pass (off camera) on Bowers after following him for several laps. Maybe the retaliation wasn’t from Vegas at all?

I think looking at the replay Bowers had every intention of hitting Barcia. His back wheel was rolling free.. Barcia made a similar non-contact in the LCQ with the difference being that his rear wheel was locked. Take Barcia out of the he turn and Bowers was going to launch right over the berm. Barcias pass in Vegas was a Typical Barcia hard pass not a punt attempt.

Im all for a block pass and some rubbing, but when someone aims themselves at a rider and intentionally doesnt even try to turn his bike, that is a d*ck move. F you bowers you fag.

This , I dont think the takeout was the reason for DQ, something happened in the tunnel as they were waiting to line up.

I think most takeouts are ok, as they are a part of racing and advancing on the track, and they a done through forcibly taking a racing line away from the other racer.
Bowers however was a near 90 degree impact. Totally different. Total bullshit. DQ him for a couple races.

Bowers probably wasn't expecting the sudden stop and had no where to go because it happened so quickly. If you watch the first rider who passes them you will see them cut down on this inside line.

There's no way Bowers got DQ'd simply based on what happened on the track. If that was an intentional move as retaliation for Barcia breaking his leg, that would be super WEAK for retaliation. Sure, maybe he did mean to bang bars, but no way was that move alone worthy of a DQ.

Patiently waiting for more info to come out about something happening in the tunnel.

As for the issue between Tyler and Devin back in 2010, kids get in fights from time to time. The real piece of shit in that incident was Tyler's dad. He's a grown man telling his son to "finish it" after it sounds like it was already finished. Tim Bowers should have gone to prison and got ass raped over that decision. I don't put all that blame on Tyler, more so his dad. Pure definition of POS

This did not deserve a DQ. I can think of so many different incidents that were so much worst than this. When was the last time a rider was DQ'ed for rough racing (minus Pieck)? Funny how it happened to a privateer and one of the guys that made a bigger fuss about the lime. I think this move is going to fire Bowers up even more.

I agree something else happened. The AMA wouldn’t wait for him to show back up in the stadium ready to line up before telling him he was DQ’d would they???

I try to be a fan of his b/c I think he got black balled or something at his first SX attempts way back when then he turned his career around with AX but shitty stories like these keep popping up. Hard to be a fan when you give us every reason not to be.

I am a bowers fan and based on the takeout I don’t disagree on the do if that is why it happened. That being said bowers comes off as a bully and acts like a chick emotionally off the track. He does not apologize for anything and makes excuses for everything. He seems to own up to some of his crap behavior only so it can be justified.

In terms of him and a-ray and Tyler on pulp I felt Alex was actually the one being a baby. That being said they could have easily buried the beef if Tyler said hey you are sketchy and I stand by that but sorry and so on and I will stop talking shit in public. Instead where bowers took two steps back Is he says to a Ray good for you now you got your attention by bringtng this up and so on. Tyler actually came off as the better person until then.

He’s not a loser. I raced with him all my life growing up. He was always a big boy and could muscle into position. But he isn’t a loser trying to kill people. He’s aggressive. And his dads a good dude. For god sake people bringing up shit 10 years old and we don’t know what really happened anyway. Get over it.
