One huge glaring flaw in the NBC Sports package is the dead air- that is the opposite of excitement- really makes me wonder. There is zero chance a non-hardcore fan will sit through that.

Looks like they forgot to pump the rear brake after putting on his rear wheel. No rear brake for first few turns.

I guess it's just the way it is with this sport. It seems like they have given up on marketing to new people, but I don't know why that matters anyhow. I am fine with a niche sport, as long as it sticks around.

Reed is always saying how the pace hasn't really gotten any quicker but the tracks have been dumbed down; well on a technical track I'd say the two oldest riders in the field showed that's right.
