For his sake, I hope Adam learned a lesson.

RJ prevented the cleanout. Had he stayed in it like AC did he would have gone down. Smarter racing by RJ.

Yes while I don't think it was intentional on AC's part it pissed off RJ and his was intentional.

I'm an AC fan but that was rad! I would have done the same thing. That said, AC had some speed and looked like the rider to beat to me.

In most cases, the difference between a block pass and a (perceived) clean-out is whether or not the target shuts off. It looked to me like RJ did and then AC didn't. I think if AC checked up, the passes would have looked almost identical. I didn't see anything wrong with it.

i enjoyed it haha Im a huge AC fan but i feel the sports needs some of this and a bit of a rivalry.
it gets boring when theirs not banter or aggressiveness

AC is my pick for the championship and is clear he is the fastest. but, when the opportunity comes, other riders are gonna make a move.

only 7 days to go! Smile

RJ and AC got together before this and both went down. Now I have to wonder did that have anything to do with AC running RJ high in that corner?

AC shouldn't have made such an aggressive pass if he couldn't get through the whoops fast enough to get away from RJ by the next turn. Love AC, that was just silly, though.

They both talk about it in how was your weekend. Sounds like they disagree.

A C claiming R J pulled a " Dade City " on him ! Funny Shyte but I think R J served notice for 2019.

RJ barely stayed on his bike. Only difference is AC went down. Can’t believe anybody would think like you, but I guess you’ll always have those hard heads who can’t view things objectively due to their fanboyism.

AC was faster than him he should have just been patient and made the pass in the next few Corners there was no sense of urgency to do that. What surprises me is why didn't he go inside the next corner he had to have known that was going to happen

Loved it. So many riders anymore don't retaliate after aggressive passes put on them. RJ did. Wish we'd see it more often.

First picture is a half second too soon. RJ was paddling with his right leg and almost went down.

You gotta look at the lines. Not where the tough blocks are. AC Hit RJ out of the rut that his rear wheel is in. RJ managed to stay up and returned the favor. Great racing.

You can get both of their opinions on it here:

Also, it was pretty cool to hear Jacob Hayes talk about how the crowd was so loud he couldn't hear the RPM's of his bike and it was hard to hit the triple because he couldn't hear where he was at in the RPM's.

Main difference here is that RJ shut off a bit and had a bit more track to work with before hitting the tuff blocks when AC ran him. In the next turn, the angle AC entered the turn and where RJ hit him left AC no room at all. Honestly Adam could have tried to protect the inside a bit better after his pass by moving left in the whoops, he was a fair ways ahead of RJ upon entry.

EDIT: After re-watching the race again, AC was already pretty far left in the whoops, his mistake was driving it in straight into the berm and opening a spot where RJ could come up inside him. For me, RJ's move is right on the edge of racing, if he would have crashed too doing it then I would have said it was stupid.

Re watched the race this morning. If I were RJ I'd hope AC starts infront of me, or far enough back he can't catch me.. Because I doubt AC let's RJ stay up next time. And he's clearly fast enough to catch hm from behind.

Don't have a problem with it, but as much as RJ let off a little whilst AC was coming in, AC was crossing ruts and didn't come in nearly as quick on the return. AC wasn't given the opportunity to shut it down, RJ went there to punt him.

Thats racing. You make those choices. Depending on both riders its either squashed or AC takes him out. Thats the risk you take.

This. Watch it again, ac left some track, rj flat out was pushing ac off the track. One pass was clean, the other wasn't. Ac owes him one

You are delusional. AC's pass on RJ was not clean at all. AC had it coming and he got it. Shouldn't have left the door open. Sorry your favorite rider made a bad move and paid the price.
