I only watch until midnight anyway and record all the races. I watch them on Sunday morning so I can FF through all the garbage. I stay off Vital Sunday morning until I watch the race. Skipping all the BS is worth it to me. Just hope they dump Ralf.

If I can’t watch the race the day of, I record them anyway and can watch them anytime. I often re-watch them later each week anyway. It’s easy for me to not find out the results before I watch each race because I’m not addicted to the internet and/or social media. To each his own. I like the fact that NBC Sports is covering both. I don’t have MAVTV and couldn’t watch the first two motos. I also want some type of basic cable to watch documentaries and because of that, I wouldn’t pay additional just to be able to watch it live.

Please stop trying to spin it as if they're doing international fans a favour. They had their own service setup (that by pretty much all accounts that I saw was terrible and virtually unusable) and knew they could squeeze people of that much more money by limiting the NBC gold pass to residents of the US and making international fans buy their shitty service. It's a complete joke, Feld is high as a kite if they think anyone with half a brain would support this shit.

I didn't want Cable, because I rarely watch TV, but my Internet package from Xfinity Comcast was cheaper with basic TV than withough (nk - Comcast is a cable company that's why their Internet+TV deal was cheaper). The last year/s I couldn't watch Supercross on TV, because FS2 was not available in my package. It was a hassle to find an affordable way to watch Supercross. So I booked YouTube TV for (back then) $30 a month, every month of the season. $75 for the Gold pass is definitely cheaper than booking YouTube TV for $30 (now $40) a month. I totally consider buying the Gold pass. But my free channel TV list shows NBC and NBCSportsBoston. I will wait until the preview show on December 22 to see if it's on NBC or NBCSportsBoston. If so, I'd be stoked.
So...I'm pretty happy with the availability of the Gold pass, assuming everything is live and available whenever I want to join in.
Side note: Only thing I am pretty bummed about is that Jenny Taft won't be part of this due to the switch to NBC. Big loss for the upcoming season.

The preview show on Dec 22nd is on regular NBC. Not sure if the races will air on NBC Sports Boston. That's something you'll have to wait and see on race day or contact them in advance to see if they will air on that channel. From my experience, stations are usually slow to respond so if I were you I'd contact them asap if you want an answer before the SX season starts.

FWIW, I sent an email to NBCSN indicating my satisfaction for the Gold App for the outdoor series as an international subscriber while being extremely disappointed in the fact that the SX Pass will be available to only the US. To their credit they got back to me right away telling me they appreciated my feedback. I sure hope this changes before January.

I ordered the SX and MX combo pack. I didn't see any 2018 or before MX archives available. They all had a lock on them. Do you need the specific MX only package to watch old races? Most are on YouTube or dailymotion so it's not a big deal. Just wondering if you all saw the same.

I went to "pro motocross" >>"watch now" >> full events replays" >> passes "pro motocross" and was able to watch the '18 races

Just signed up for the combo pass, can't wait for A1!

NBC Sports Gold app is excellent, very happy I can now watch SX and MX whenever and wherever I want and am not tied to my DVR.

So international viewers have 2 solid options:

1. Buy the Feld livestream package

2. Get a US VPN and then buy the Sports Gold package and view as though you are watching from the US.

Just subscribed to the Supercross + Pro Motocross Pass. Still working on getting better internet but it's worth it to me for practices and archives as well as watching live if I can get my internet sorted out. Still have Directv so covered either way.

Ready for A1!

Anyone know if you can watch on your tv using your phone as the source? Not having wired internet, I use my phone hooked to the tv to watch Netflix. Would this work the same?

That’s exactly how I do it. iPhone I have an adapter from lightning cable to usb. Works great and I don’t have the best cell signal at my house either.

By the way, AMA Supercross and Motocross have always needed to be on a single network. The average fan identifies with the riders, not the organizations behind the series. It's all the same guys racing.

Yes has chromecast support and can cast to smart tv. Not sure what you mean by shared.

Typically available by the next morning. Stay off social media and then watch all the heats, LCQ, and mains without commericals...for free on offroadvideos.org without issue from phone or tv. I enjoy sipping coffee and simply watching on a tablet and watching the entire program in just an over an hour.

As for all this NBCSN stuff, it's going to be a disaster and the viewer #s will confirm it with people having to understand what channel to switch to based on whether it's the qualifying or mains. Ridiculous, frankly.

By shared I mean shared with another party. For instance, I share my DirecTV NOW subscription with my brother and we can both stream simultaneously. Can a Gold Pass be streamed with the same login credentials simultaneously?

Qualifying will be available on the app. But Qualifying was never broadcast on TV before. Only the die-hards are interested in watching qualifying. The heats and mains will be on NBCSN just like they were on FOX.
