How many people use GEICO just because they sponsor the FC team?

Edited Date/Time 12/23/2017 8:49pm
I do. I haven't even checked if I can get a better rate elsewhere. However, if I am getting an energy drink mid day it's a monster rehab, despite the fact that I cannot stand Monster Energy Kawasaki. And I drive past a Home Depot on my way to Menards despite their deal with Barn Pro's Yamaha.

So yeah, what out of industry stuff do you use because of their ties with teams?

I have had geico quote me before, prices were competitive. I chose to stay with the same agent I've had for 15+ years though.

I've wondered the same thing before, I'll see a product and the thought of who they sponsor crosses my mind.

I do.

When possible I try to reward any company that spends money on Moto even if it costs a few dollars extra. Unfortunately not that many outside companies.

I got a quote from Geico because of their involvement in the sport, but they couldn't come near the deal I got with Progressive. This was for insurance on a street bike that I recently purchased.

I always look towards moto sponsorship. Although, religion and politics 'trump' some of them. Then price, if it close, its fine. But too much, then just no.

Geico won't insure your bike if you race it.

I have geico for homeowners but for auto they won’t give me anything because of my driving record...lol. I go to Jimmy Johns when I can because of their support when I want a sandwich

Government Employee Insurance COmpany, they are pretty strong to have backing you as a mx rider.

I went with them because they were about $1200 less a year than AAA. Triple A went crazy on their rates this year.

Yes. Homeowners/auto.

For some reason, despite their involvement in the sport, their motorcycle coverage has not been super price competitive for me with other options.

same here. Cant beat Progressive rates and I can't justify spending the extra money just because they sponsor a team.

And this is exactly why I steer clear of them.
I prefer to support local business anyhow.

I do. I have supported moto-sponsoring companies since the days of Team Peak (antifreeze).

Kinda, Geico has actually been really awesome to me and my family, but since they sponsor the FC team, makes me a little more inclined to stay there.

I priced insurance for my new street bike first thru Geico Powersports due to their participation in the sport. However found the rates high when compared to Dairyland. Ending up going with Dairyland.

Geico rates were higher for everything.
I drink a lot of energy drinks too, but only buy the ones on sale. No overpriced Redbull or Geico for me. $ has to add up in my favor before I part with it.

I got a quote from Geico, because they are a sponsor, but also cause the insurance I had wanted like $300 a month to cover my Maverick. Geico smoked who I had my car insurance through on the qoute. So I have everything covered with Geico. Have since got qoute from some other company's and no one has beat Geico on cover everything I have covered.

Not initially but it's one of the reasons why I keep them for car insurance.

I must say I did try getting a quote after hearing the announcers tell me to 15 mins into the motos. It was worth it....saved me a few hundred a year when I made the switch from 21st century. When it comes to insurance I use whatever is the cheapest, not based on who/what they sponsor
