Anyone else start getting spam text messages after signing up?

The day after I signed up, I started getting multiple spam texts from multiple different numbers addressed to my name. Not from Boyesen, but from someone trying to sell logo design.

I haven't entered my cell number in anything else. Just wondering.
Same here. Non stop.

That's disappointing if our numbers were instantly sold off to be spamed.

ML,

Can you tell us why the stock 250 cylinder was bored instead of using KTM's 300 kit?

Alright, I kinda figured it would be more to it, so Millennium Technologies and Wiseco might get some business.

Damn... I didn't link that together, but I've had the same. Up until then, I'd never had a single spam text/ call before then. I've blocked 15 #'s in the last month. Angry

What do you think this bike giveaway is for? They are simply data mining and selling your info.

I understand it's a marketing campaign, just thought it was more for Boyseen products and the companies associated with building the bike, boosting their social media reach, their email reach and general awareness, rather than a spam text message campaign for unrelated products and services where they sell off our info.

I'm not 100% sure the spam originated from signing up for this giveaway, but it started days after signing up for it. It has slowed down in the last several weeks, but then again I blocked every spam text number that came in.

I signed up for some giveaway from Asterisk through RacerX. I always make sure my personal info isn't on the internets and sure enough, a week later it's all out there. Spent a little time getting it all removed. I can appreciate it when Vital says they're concerned with privacy, I just don't know about Boyesen, so no sign up for me.

Every give away I've ever seen does the same thing. A good way to figure out who gives out what info is to put different middle names on different submissions. I do this all the time so I know who is giving what out. Doing that let me find out that my college out of all fking places was selling my information.

There was supposed to be 1 winner per month for 4 months on the monthly prizes. Have those winners been posted anywhere? I looked on the Boyesen Twitter and Insta and found nothing.

You know, the last couple months I've been blocking robo calls left and right. Kind of wondering now myself. I'll let the whole ordeal go though in exchange for the bike. Thoughts?Wink

I have the list, I'll post it in a bit.

We have just over two weeks until the final giveaway is done for the actual bike!

Did I win yet?

I traded my '17 TC 250 for '17 CRF 450 and need a new TC to go with it. The two best bikes ever made!

No, you have not and I told you don't bother signing up. The win will go to me. I can almost feel my back hair fluttering in the breeze as I roost this rocket around the track.

Did you ever post the winners list?

How about a complete list of the winners including the grand prize winner?

So Boysen did post the winner on their instagram. Nothing about the supposed monthly prizes though.

Curious if anyone will make an offer to the winner of the Husky. It's absolutely pristine, but may not fit his riding style. The bike has a large target audience today (via Instagram or Vital), but that will dwindle as time passes. In other words, if he wants to sell, sell it today to recoup maximum value.

With that being said, what is the bike's estimated value? The Husky could transition from one person to another at a price point that makes both the seller and buyer happy.
