You think Red Bull KTM could pull him over that easy?
I think it be a great fit! Bump Martin Davalos upto 450 & if Osbourne having a bad year bump him up too!

Even with Baggett under contract with Butler Bros, I have to think If KTM wanted him on the factory squad, it wouldn't be difficult to make that happen.

Tickle is a solid 2nd tier rider to back up Musquin. I still think KTM needs another premier rider to justify the size of their operation. Barcia wouldn't be a bad choice if they can sign him cheap on a win-bonus heavy contract. He isn't going to win a championship but he can snag motos and SX wins if the chips fall his way.

The bikes are fine, but I don't really think their track record makes the factory KTM look superior to the other factory bikes.
maybe not but they sure have a good program going....

Ktm husky are the same company, they have bigger interests in the riders then the teams do and pull strings however they want. If they want ando it's a call...

I'm surprised at the amount of people saying Marvin isn't a real title contender next year. Huh

The problem is that right now there is 1 guy that is going to be winning titles the next few years (unless Roczen comes back to he pre-arm form) and that's Tomac, and I don't see Kawasaki letting him go...so really, all teams but Kawi are fighting over 2nd place.

In years past there was at least two "front runners" who had a legit shot at a title each series...this year there is one front runner-3-and that puts all the teams in a tough spot if they want to win titles.
You would have said the same thing before tomac and kr hit the ground. Injuries happen. Tomac is great but will never be injury free long term.

Is Cole Seely locked to Honda on a multi-year deal?

Is Weston Peick already inked with JGR again for 2018?

Just thoughts...

Musquin seems a rider who can win. I dunno who he is but he needs to be fast to go 1-1 in Millville.

1 Anderson is not going anywhere, they love him.

2. KTM doesnt have enough money to get Baggett away from BBR.

Stop speculating on those two.

I'm with you on that. If I'm signing riders to a team, I'm pushing hard at Plessy. Something about him tells me he has the best potential to rise to the top.

Doesn't look like Martin Davalos will be on Rockstar Husky next year...would KTM pick him up on a 450?

Why wouldn't KTM pick up Osborne for the 450 seat?

This stuff is hilarious and will only get better as 2018 approaches.
ML seems to have the information, but you don't get that info by being the guy spewing it all over the net.
In a perfect world ego's would be put aside and Justin Barcia would join The Man along with Aldon, look what Baker did for Anderson, dude won a moto injured an the Nations! It really is that simple, DeCoster and Aldon could transform Barcia. Just like Osborne, Barcia would say " I thought my program was good".

Good Question...... Very Good! I was thinking about this earlier KTM need to be very smart, Cos MM25 is older than Dungey, on the same program...

I was thinking about this earlier KTM need to be very smart, Cos MM25 is older than Dungey, on the same program, Marv has maybe 2 years to get a title? before well..... burnout like all good bakers factory boys do....
So the tickle Idea sounds good in theory but they cant really put all the eggs in the Marv basket.
so i think there waiting on CW2 or Possibly hope a breakout 250 ride comes thru or maybe look to the MXGP?
Its a hard call for the KTM team thats for sure. Thats what i think KTM are waiting for.

We know what Honda went thru when they let RC go. KTM dont want the same.

Plessinger better start getting some good results if he plans to have any factory ride on 450s. Obviously he's very well liked here at vital, but realistically he's been extremely disappointing thus far.

I'm not too sure on this one...here's what I know though.

Baggett was considered but KTM, Baggett and BBR sat down about I was told...Blake will stay at BBR for the remainder of his contract. KTM doesn't have the power to just pull him away and he's happy where he is...and BBR is happy. I was an early adopter of thinking this would happen, but in this case KTM can't just go "we want him"...BBR is a support team...but also a customer team. Baggett is their rider and would pretty much need to be bought out of his contract and all the parties involved would have to agree. As I said before, he's happy and the team is happy...it's just better for KTM to leave him where he's happy and on a KTM. They can always talk 2019...

Tickle is the main man up for one of the two available spots. Wouldn't be surprised if that PR comes soon...

Anderson is being thrown around because some have probably heard what I was hearing that he wants to be on KTM next year so he can have the "new" bike. There's a all new KTM 450 coming next year and the guys will run it in Supercross do to the Factory Edition. I've heard rumblings of a Husky FE bike, but I don't think it's happening (could be wrong)...if it doesn't, I heard he wants to be on the new bike and that would require him to be a KTM.

Barcia was being kicked around for a one year deal, but I've heard that as a bit less likely lately.

As for some others kicked around...Peick will be at JGR next year.

Cole Seely is locked down through 2018.

Zach Osborne is staying at Husky on a 250 next year.

Dean Wilson has signed or is about to sign to stay at Husky.

Mathes just dumped on Twitter that Reed was trying to get a KTM deal done. No stamp...

Oh, and Millsaps & Webb on Factory Yamaha.

Know anything about those?

I thought Davi was staying put but I had also heard from others he was looking around. Either way, it'll be Davi's last season and he's retiring.
