1). first year with new team outdoors 2). had 6 moto dominance streak, sexton had no such streak 3.) flat out won more motos overall 4.) had wayyy more dominant moments of just straight up bullying past sexton than sexton had on him (pala 2 moto 1, ironman moto 1, spring creek, etc) 5.) there is no PED controversy surrounding Tomac. We all know he aint cheating. Tomac has had a vastly more impressive season than Sexton. Props to Sexton for giving him someone to compete with each weekend, but Eli is the one we'll remember this season for.

Bike has been a gem to work on. I expected a lot more pain coming off the ancient tech of the YZ, but everything has been super easy to get to on this bike.

I was born poor white trash. We moved every time the rent came due. As a kid we lived in Bartow, Mulberry, and right on the lake at Sebring. I loved Florida except for those monster sun spiders. I'm retired now and been thinking about retracing my childhood travels. Something to do.

Eh, for what it's worth (I am not a fast B rider, I would struggle to stay with the main pack at a major B race), I am about 2 seconds a lap faster (compared to a 2020 YZ250F with Enzo Suspension) on average on a sand track that is almost 3 minutes long. I just make less mistakes / carry more momentum in the turns on the Honda. Maybe if you are a great in corners, you can utilize the motor on the Yamaha, but I cannot. The ergonomics on Honda, for me (I am 6 feet tall) also...

Always seemed weird folks talked shit on him continuing to race for so long. If the guy loves riding as much as he clearly does, why wouldn't he want to race the best tracks at the best level for as long as he could? Doing it off his own back, yeah he had some help, all while knowing that people would totally miss the point and say he was past it and uncompetitive or they didn't know why he was still doing it and all that stuff speaks even more to how much he loves the sport and just wants...
