Thinking about making a trip south and I was wanting to hit Chad Reeds place.
Anyone have any feedback? Thanks

I've been there about 5-6 times. It's pretty good but maybe not worth a long road trip. It's nice that they have a kids track, intermediate track and advanced track, and a woods loop. So if you have little ones or want options it's great. The intermediate track is more of a beginner track and the advanced track isn't too advanced, which is fun for me as I'm not a pro. Good dirt and good track prep, plenty of pit area but not much shade. I mostly go there as it's 25 minutes away and they used to be open on Fridays. Silver Valley is great and the best track in this area of NC in my opinion. You could do Silver Valley on Sat and Moto40 on Sunday.

I ride there quite a bit and I wanted to agree that it's probably not worth a long road trip. The "advanced" track is fun but it's not too difficult, it doesn't get overly crowded. The "intermediate" track is super easy and super crowded. It gets hectic so I don't ride on it anymore.

Club MX Practice Facility is open on Sunday and should be PRIMO if you have your heart set up coming down this way!

Heading down to NC to ride and relax in a couple weeks. Thought about going over to moto 40 but their schedule doesn't work for us. Going to 5 points mx. Never been but looks good enough for me 😜.

5pts is a fun track! If you are that close there are several tracks within an hours ride! DM me if you have any questions about the area, some awesome tracks in Eastern NC!

Just curious...does Morgans Corner and ECMX still operate?

I was going to say if you are going to the Outer Banks the two tracks mentioned above are even closer. ECMX only opens for races and specific ride days. Morgans has new management and is called Moto Town Playground now!

WCMX is about 45 mins from 5pts and then JWTF about another 45 from there. 4 excellent tracks, and that is just the start of all the tracks we have around here!

Any good moto bike shops around the area? I like to stop in if I have time.

Not really, actually we are probably the closet moto shop to the outer banks. There is a Honda and then a Kawi shop in Elizabeth City but I don't think they really have much for the moto guys!

Unpopular opinion

The intermediate track is crowded because people don't like having to huck 75 triples or be jumped over by people who do. It's crowded because most new/intermediate riders want relatively safe and fun challenges and don't want to beat the local B class at the next race on a hopped up 450
