RacerX is reporting that JG33 had knee surgery on July 11 for a tear in his meniscus and LCL.

I doubt he would come back at Round 11 or 12, guessing he is out for the season.

With just a few rounds left, I wouldn't be surprised if they just focus on Tomac and the title. If they bring someone on to fill-in...could be Bowers.

Agree with this.

Sucks for Grant but think it would be a good idea to give Hill the ride to see if he can do anything on a big bike. He has shown he can in SX but it is his MX that is in question. Might give him that motivation to showcase his skills in MX.

Hope Grant heals up quick. We need to see him at A1.

I don't know man, Grant is uber talented on a dirt bike and can come off the couch and finish in the top ten, but he has still been injured so often over the years. I got nuthin really other than he is really fast but can't finish a series, and still finds a way to get some pretty good contracts. Good for him I suppose.

I agree, Grant will be hard to replace. I do think Grant is a necessary team component in a Tomac Championship. They've got to try to bring in someone. Baggets not done.
