I bought the Tusk crankshaft puller but it does not have an attachment to connect to the primary gear side of the OEM crankshaft. The bike sat for close to a year between tear down and starting back up. Hey guys. So I replaced the cylinder and piston in my 2012 KX250f and when I went to start it up, the engine would fire and run for 10 seconds or less before stopping. http://www.motosport.com/dirtbike/oem-parts/kawasaki/2009/kx250f/cylind… parts 92153 and 92153A I would get a torque wrench and moly assembly grease while you are at it. Torque for those bolts is 7.25 ft-lbs on my 2012 kx250f, so I imagine it is about the same on the 09

Thanks for all the replies and help, but I've still had no success trying to get the hub nut off. I even tried a heat gun on it, but still nothing. I will keep trying but any tips help.

So I am trying to pull the inner hub off of my 2012 kx250f and I cannot seem to get the main clench nut off. I bought an air impact driver and have been using that with a metal jig to hold the inner but cannot get the nut off. Does any one have any tips to help?

I did not think of the oil filter as being the leak point, but I will make sure to check that. My dad did see some black smoke coming out of the exhaust when I first started the bike at the track, so my suspicion is that it was burning oil off. Thanks for the tip Paw Paw.

Anyone have a good recommendation for a place that does suspension in Georgia, hopefully near Atlanta? My fork seals are leaking and I am wanting to get everything serviced and setup without having to ship it halfway across the country.
