Kx clutch basket removal trouble

So I am trying to pull the inner hub off of my 2012 kx250f and I cannot seem to get the main clench nut off. I bought an air impact driver and have been using that with a metal jig to hold the inner but cannot get the nut off. Does any one have any tips to help?

You can make a clutch hub tool by using a couple of steel plates held with a vise grip and put the vise grip in a spot between the basket ears and then remove the nut , if the rear wheel is on the ground and put it in 1st gear will help also.

Thanks for all the replies and help, but I've still had no success trying to get the hub nut off. I even tried a heat gun on it, but still nothing. I will keep trying but any tips help.

Did you bend the tabs from the safety washer?

Is the clutch hub moving or the clutch basket moving?

Use a propane torch from Walmart, Kawi clutch basket nuts have some crazy locktite, heat gun might not do it. You might have to buy or borrow a better impact gun. Make sure to leave all the clutch plates in to help hold it.
