Seriously? Dungey had to go through the SAME lappers before Tomac did.

It's usually worse for the first guy through traffic as the lappers have no idea until the leader goes by, after that they're aware the rest of the pack is coming through. Ryan is simply the best rider out there. I'd be willing to bet he had 1/2 a sec at least in reserve in case Tomac was coming up quick.

Yeah Tomac was flying but that sinking ship never quite sank.

Dungey knew exactly where Tomac was and exactly how hard he would have to ride to win. Margin of victory means absolutely nothing. Doesn't matter if you win by .1 second or one minute. The result and the points are the same. Dungey stays up, doesn't crash and goes just fast enough to win the majority of times. Doesn't mean he's going to be the fastest guy lap after lap, no one is. If Tomac was better he'd be winning and have the points lead. I like Tomac and Dungey. Ryan is just more consistent and tougher mentally than anyone. Again, margin of victory is meaningless.

If's, and's, or but's.... he managed the race from in front. He knew where Eli was. Rolled the last half of the whoops and cruised over the finish. A win is a win.

Edit:

Sorry Ing....I was typing mine when you posted....lol

Maybe if Barcia would've gotten the fuck out of the way instead of roosting the shit out of Tomac, he could've gotten him. Will someone please teach Tomac how to get a start. Still 9 rounds left, plenty of time for Tomac to win.

If it wasn't for Tomac's freak mechanical front end problem, your boy Dumbgey wouldnt have a big points lead.

yup, anyone notice the engine cylinder bolts on the side of the cylinder? You dont see them on the 2017 engine ...in fact the whole engine looks totally different....look at the front engine mounts compared to stock. Shorter stroke engine??

Those springs are supplied directly by KYB. Some riders still run steel while others use titanium, it's a preference thing. Last I checked, it's just a metallic powder coating.

Bro do not drink and post, you are showing your true colors....and they are quite sad. Tomac tipped over and broke his front brake, nothing "freak" about it. You have to stop being so emotional about other people's accomplishments...

Not emotional at all bro. Let me ask you this; what are the odds a simple tip over in a rut results in a torn up front end that takes you out of the race? Maybe 1 out of 100, or 1,000? Come on. If it wasn't for that, it would be a close point race.

I was kinda going for that look with the one I just did with a rattle can. We can buy the chrome blue one from kyb direct though.

The thing that gets me about people saying if there was only two more laps left....is that they put the 20 minute plus two laps or whatever timing thing in there, for just that reason. So no one could say "Oh, if it was just two more laps." Had it been the standard format like last year, Dungey would have finished 7 to 10 seconds ahead of Tomac.

Incredibly emotional, and obviously clueless about statistics. Your erratic name calling and clear hate for the Champ is undeniable. The odds against him tipping over and breaking the front brake are irrelevant. Even if it is 1:100000000 he still stuffed the front end and lost a bunch of points. People like you make excuses and blame everything else for a poor finish. But, at the end ifs and buts are just ifs and buts. RD catches a lot of flack around here, but it is weird that he is ALWAYS at the top. I get a kick out of everyone that says "well RV stomped him", well guess what, he stomped everyone....and now he is on the couch, enjoying life.....and it is 100% well deserved. But for whatever's sake, RD is a 3 time champ with 5 wins in Atlanta and in control of another number 1 plate....and you still call him "Done G"

Great night of solid racing, Dungey looks like Dungey again, Bogle flips a bird, sparks flyin from Tomac in the whoops, everyone got to play in the sand, Baggett earned his 2nd career podium.

Thank you.

Gnat whip is not making any sense. "Simple tip over" that was not. ET was pushing hard and lost the front because of that. keeping it on two wheels is part of racing. Ask mookie and James. They fast, but unless they stay upright they not getting the chicks and glory.

What I don't get about these anti-Dungey dicks is that when someone says that Dungey pretty much dominated in 2015 and 2016, they will say that's the past and things change. Then, when it's pointed out that he is currently leading the series and may very well be on his way to a third straight sx title, the anti-Dungey crowd will talk about how RV smoked his ass for four years. But think about that statement. Dungey may well be on his way to a THIRD straight sx title. That means he has won two straight which is two straight more than KR, or Eli. Pretty impressive, yet you have some yahoo saying that Dungey has finally won 2 races this year and tied KR. Wow, how dumb can one get? There is no doubt that Eli is the fastest guy out there, and there are plenty of races for him to make his moves. Dungey knows that's his biggest threat and all it takes is one bad race, one mishap, one thing and Eli will be on the verge of his first major sx title. He smells blood. And if he wins it, then he earned it. But you pricks that disrespect Dungey are lame. How much does the guy have to win, and how many titles before you drop the "doesn't have the raw speed" bit? He has plenty of raw speed and he has the wins and titles to prove it.

That was the most blatant track cutting I think I have ever seen in pro racing. I had to rewind and play in slow motion to see the guy come from the center of the pack and take a hard left.

Also never saw any mention of the rider who passed this week?
