Maybe I'm making something out of nothing, but the way he worded it almost seems like a goodbye to me. Enjoyed his time at JGR, giving a shout out to his mechanic there, then saying he is getting to work to find a way to race next year. I don't feel like I'm reaching, but maybe I am Silly

Aren't HD forks Showa, same as Honda? Are you saying Showa provided crap finish on their OEM forks for HD, but good finish for their ones for Honda?

sorry to the hard working, adventure seeking, outdoorsy manly men who just happen to be millenials ....but the truth is that YOU are a dying breed within your generation and among people in general Now, as far as the HD situation goes, maybe the numbnuts at HD should wake up and realize that not everyone wants to buy grandpa's old putt putt , warmed over 1000 times. Enough of the air cooled, push rod, potato potato nonsense. I am not a millenial and I have never had the slightest interest in HD junk. The costume alone is idiotic, but I...

Fellow millennial here. I think it’s cringey when people talk about how old they are when they bought their first house like it’s some kind of honor badge or flair they can pin to their life costume. With that being said..... Power to you for taking care of business like a man. However being offended by someone generalizing a generation with humor to the point of validating yourself by posting your life resume/tinder bio is VERY millennial-like I did laugh my ass off at the original post because it was hilarious.

Typical Millennial- Easily offended...Everything you pointed out everyone else has been doing for years.. Did you want a trophy for leading a normal life?

After reading this thread, I realized the OP missed one.... 24) Millennial's sensitivity to butthurt precludes them from riding any distance on a motorcycle seat

Of course not, but did your verhicle insurance go down because now the vehicle is supposed to be "Safer" with correct pressures all the time? NOPE. And the pressure is never exact anyway. As long as it is "In range" But it did make people dumber and spend money at the dealer. What about lane change warning indicators, and all the other crap they add to avoid accidents? Any of that lower vehicle insurance because you might get into less accidents? NOPE. Insurance went UP, because the cost to fix all this shit in an accident is way more expensive...

The only thing cooler than a Harley is....anything else

As implied by others... I blame the douche-bag "My kid is the brightest and smartest" helicopter parents. Remember RIDING YOUR BICYCLE TO SCHOOL? Remember trying out for upper-division sports/teams? Remember when THE WINNERS got the trophy? Well, under "who's watch" did that all change? Oddly enough, how much do you wanna bet that more than a few of these helicopter parents work at The Catalog Cruiser Company? (That's my name for Harley Davidson: it's not about the bike...it's about how much crap you bought from the catalog of chrome insanity...) Laughing

But most millennials can't think for themselves. The rest could figure out how to hitch the horses to the wagon. Why do you think newer cars come with tire pressure monitoring systems? Most can't use a tire gauge or know how to read the door jamb label or the max tire pressure on the tire. They need a screen to tell them to go to the dealer because the tire is low.

Millenials are between 23-38 now. I find is hilarious that we get blamed for all kinds of things when its really Gen Zers that have brought in things like the Tide Pod challenge, Fortnite, and vape tricks. Don't lump us in with them. Also, I wouldn't buy a Harley because they are absolute dog shit. A couple years ago I was working the Kawasaki booth at the Edmonton bike show, the Harley booth beside us had the "new" Milwaukee 8 motor on display with a big cutout. I asked the guy there what was special about the new engine and...

My mum had a Honda CT110, then got a Ducati Monster then got a Harley to fit in with the crowd in her area. She said it handles worse than the CT110 and sold it 2 weeks later and bought a Triumph Bonneville and loves it. Harley’s are absolute total trash in ever conceivable way except for the completely image focussed Boomers who want to look cool in front of their boomer friends.

Most millennials and Harley's both suck. So do people without a sense of humor. I fall between millennials and gen x which isn't much better. I would like a time machine to go bring back baby boomers and traditionalist to my business. And just so I don't offend too many snowflakes with girl pants and tramp stamps, there are exceptions! Stereotypes exist for a reason.
