I thought he'd release something vague like this.
Almost as vague as the times he used to tell us he was going to race Outdoors for L&M.
I expect this drags out all year.

In just looking fwd to racing starting tonight. If either of them makes it to the line this year ready to race and on point I would be happy about that too.

Yep. It wasn't surprising at all and everyone is acting like he just gave good concrete answers regarding his future. He once again beat around the bush and is getting all of his fans excited. Each time he does this he loses more and more fans. I hope to see him out there and healthy, I just have my doubts.

Also, What Uptite has been posting has yet to be disproven.

All i want to see is a JS7 that gives himself a chance of actually racing competitively if he comes back. It would be amazing to have him race again but only if he actually is ready and fit to do it right. Not like in 2016, that was not good for anyone.

I just watched A1 2016 the other day.

No one should have been knocked out as soft a hit as that was. And it wasn't the last hit he's taken to the head or will if he gets back on.

I honestly think he should stay on the bench, dude's a Dad, has nothing to prove, nothing to gain, it all to lose.
Soft hit? no.

DAMN this is good news, i had really hoped he wasn't going to go like that and i hope he brings those words to the track and maintains them.

Hopefully the no factory thing motivates the young man to step back in to where he should be, fingers crossed!

Who's gonna sell more bikes in the end?
You must've forgot Chad had to start his own team a few years ago.

Stewart's done. He's hit his head way too many times and doesn't have the abilty to ride at the level he once did. I think making and finishing a Main will be a success.

James is a joke, he pretty much shot himself in the foot with last years shenanigans. Dude should just retire.

Exactly. I just laughed when I checked Vital the morning of A1 and there's still a Stew thread at the very top of the list even though he won't even be there.

JT$ didn't say Stewart is a joke. JT$ says how much respect he has for James although they have had their differences. There is a major lack of respect for James and it says a lot about the people that are constantly bagging on him. He doens't owe anybody anything.

Why put this out at T minus 24 stating you wish you would be at a place that you COULD be...

The too late ship sailed at Thanksgiving and as Malcolm stated around that time the "Sprinter plan" should have been 1st priority for the both of you. Until we know the details and not cryptic posts I will say it's a shame that the two of them aren't out there when they had the opportunity. However, I can't wait until it comes together and I will be rooting for them...

You must have forgot Reed was highly successful. You must have forgot that Reed started his own team because it was his only option. You must have forgot how Reed proved himself and received a factory ride. You must have forgot that Reed currently has a factory ride. These are all opposites of what James is doing and has.

I have always loved to watch him ride. I am glad he decided to come back. It was disappointing if he would have ended his career like we thought (or it still could) by just disappearing. I think with 50 SX wins and however many championships the guy won he at least deserves that level of respect. I am going to treat it like someone might have when Micky Mantle or Babe Ruth or whomever that may have stayed a little past their prime or had injuries. I will hope I get to see for at least a few minutes a flash of the old JS7 and if I don't, I'm ok with that. History will show that even through all of this drama, he was still one of the best.
