I haven't been there in a few years. One thing I do remember about it is the wind. Long jumps with 30mph crosswinds was a bad combination. They do well with the prep from what I remember it's just the wind.

Would anyone agree that if you've got ruts in a staightaway, it's poor track prep? I can see ruts in corners because guys are taking the same line and work a good line in. A straight? Do they really need to be ripped 20 feet deep? I mean, I hate seeing this crap.

I have raced the Retrocross series a few times. The tracks (like CalVMX too) are too much for my bikes with the limited amount of travel. I do love their format though. Done racing by 1pm.

I'll be there on my Goldstar and my Greeves Griffon. I'm number 90. Excited that I don't have to try and race these dinosaurs on tracks with big jumps. My Goldstar has a gravitational doubler device built in so I can't huck the big triples on it. Darrin
