The Honda is notoriously light feeling and flickable, which is due in part to the dual pipe design. So the guys who don't understand the concept of the dual pipes will applaud the handling, and admonish the dual exhaust in the same sentence.

It's really funny.

Guess it's better to hang a 3 foot long grapefruit shooter off the back of a murdered out Kawi at the vital school of engineering.
Yeah Im sure the dual pipes make a big difference in handling . All the other brands veer to the right ....And hey remember to old single radiator KX 125s ? You could only make left turns with those things ..... true story .

It will be interesting to see what the real world reviews are of this bike. If there really was some sort of natural disaster that is affecting the assembly lines, the R&D world doesnt stop typically. My take is honda is having a heap of problems with the bike, and that is the reason for such a late release.

R&D parts are prototype parts, a lot of which are hand made for the initial builds. These are from small outfit shops. Not production run of the mill suppliers who are doing the mass production. As the build levels progress towards production, they start using more production parts, until final testing is done on all production parts.

I've been on Hondas for 10 years, so I am a Honda supporter...but am I the only one on here that thinks this bike looks like a cheap China toy? I'm not impressed and really glad I'm switching to KTM

And which part exactly looks like a "cheap China toy"?

The bike looks better than it has in years.

Honda will not let that twin pipe go ....it's ridiculous.

I always like to see improvements/changes/weirdness on the new bikes, reminds me of the 1975-1985 days when the shit was all new and uncharted and every year could bring an entirely new bike.

The modern 4 stroke is coming up on 20 years in production....and the best bikes IMO have been older design with EFI. geez.

Plastic design looks like something xxr would build to me, just not very appealing. Personal preferences I suppose. Curious to hear how it rides

Ya but in the post ml said they were shooting photos or videos probably for the release of the bike so I was just going off that and that roczen is going there

Great moto journalism ML. Too many vaginas out there wanting to respect the OEM's that woulda sat on these for a week...

Looks good but i was hoping for more i think. I'll wait until some ride reviews come out but with what i have done to my 15, I'm curious if it is that much better. I wish they were a bit wider and taller around the tank area. I feel like hondas used to fit me like a glove but now my knees feel a bit above the grip area. Kawis and Suzukis ergonomics feel like Hondas always did now and Honda is a bit cramped for me at 6' 2". I will most likely still buy it though.

From all the hype around this bike I am left with a "that's it?!?!?" feeling. It looks cramped up front and a mile long out back. You can put me in with the minority here that doesn't like it

Three pages and not one pass/fail grade of the front fender. I'm a little disappointed.

Yeah true, I actually like the look of the dual pipes, yes to replace to bolt on aftermarket exhausts it costs more, yep get that but if money if your problem then get a single replacement then (with a bonus of weight saving)...lets face it most of us replace them anyway, no one rides with production cans where I race

Oh I'm not bagging it it just reminded me of Aprillia with the white graphics on the red. Hell I loved the Aprillia or better known as the Coppins retirement fund

I have never been there but, i heard there is a really long road that goes to that track. So you would really have to out of your way to be "running about" when you saw the honda truck. Cool Tongue

great looking bike. really don't like the dual exhaust though, just doesn't do it for me.

also, i'm so glad they are all moving away from that god-awful white or black rear fender.

i didn't see anything about new easier to torque sprocket bolts?

Yes. I had a friend that had the supermoto model, he said it was slow as shit from the dealer, make a few mods and change mapping and it made something like 80+ hp. Not very reliable. Always in the shop.

They didn't make 80hp(especially the 450), but man did they sound amazing.

I dropped the duals on my 14 and replaced it with an FMF single.. it made it handle noticeably better...like 4lbs lighter noticeably better....yep.. oh and it turned better to...both left and right...

I like the front fender. When I saw this bike last year prototype, I said I was getting one, glad I didn't wait and got the 16 Ktm FE. I won't rule out getting another Honda but will wait for a test and review of the bike.
