Seriously I dont think people understand this. There is "weight" that comes with the number 22 being on a specific bike brand that the companies are willing to pay for.

Them leaving doesn't appear to have anything to do with a possible deal he wants.

But who knows with him. Of course he couldn't understand the issue with the camera contract either.

If the MEC was a tryout for Fact Yami, then why the heck didn't he train his arse off for a few months? He claimed that he was going to do the MEC waaaaay before in a podcast. So he had some time to really get after it. Then after his dismal finishes he said he was seriously just off the couch. why Why WHY!?

Yes, he has age. But this is a guy who just won main last year? IMO if he trained like Hannah hates, and focused, he could still fight for top 5, or 3 and a few wins with a good start and a little luck. Especially since he has the rest of his brain to work with now after deflating the overweight pink elephant last year.

I have been a fan of the 22 since he came out swinging at RC after RC put down my hero for good. I know Chad has everything it would take to go out with serious respect. He just has to want it bad enough to grind and overcome adversity when it pops up. He has always been good at that.
We will see?

imo walk away healthy Chad. Or Maybe announce it now Then do a select schedule a farewell tour so to speak under the JGR or somebody else's tent.

Chad has a huge international fan base and something like this could be good for everbody.
Then the races he doesn't do put him in the booth where he is a natural. He is one of the all time greats, that has won races against generations of the sports elite. I don't see anything wrong with reckonizing or celebrating his career, just a thought

Kind of like a baseball card the book value says it is worth 1000.00 but no one is looking to buy it now.

I like Chad as much as the next guy but wish he would have stayed on the Kawasaki. Maybe he switched hoping Yamaha would support him.

I wonder if RCH is more appealing to him now that Roczen paved the way for new fork preferences? I would assume reedy loves the bike besides the air forks? Wasn't Reed rumored to be running air forks on his yami though? Such a complicated cat that Reedy is.
Could you imagine the Suzuki test track during the week if reedy signed? It would be good for James and Reed, they bring out the best in eachother.

All of the manufacturers will also be weighing the negatives of reeds weight in case he decides to point any blame at or is not happy with their bike. There is a plus and a minus that can be received from their efforts with his weight and history.
