As others have said, total greedy money grab by MX Sports. When you hear the actual cost of the ranch, there’s no way it’s sustainable at those prices. The luster is gone, with SMX Next, combines, even Canadian Nationals proving a more valuable experience for the next generation of pros. It’ll die off like the Golden State Series back in the day. I wouldn’t pay a dollar to these greedy bastards, and I’m probably not alone in those sentiments.

I will never understand how a group of people that buy $80k trucks, $70k trailers, $10k bikes, $5k worth of aftermarke parts, $800 helmets and $30/ gallon race fuel somehow draw the line at $40 rider and $10 spectator fees. Out of the entire moto economy, the track owners have the slimmest profit margins while putting in the most passion and love for the sport and the local moto community.

Honda has very deep pockets. Comparatively, the AMA doesn't even have pants on, let alone pockets. And Feld have no say in this as they are a promoter, not the governing body that makes and enforces the rules. I hope Honda take this as far as they need to, to make the AMA grovel and come back with their tail between their legs and apply the correct penalties.
