Yep..RV in his element and it shows, the supercross champ who lived in Florida on a sx style outdoor track in humidity - of course he will win. Everyone knows it. He's an awesome rider, especially with that combo.

Si Racha was an awesome track though, proper motocross, such a pity they switched to a sx style track, it makes Qatar look like a natural track lol

It's funny how this suddenly proves RV is the best in the world just because he wins a heat race, as if the track has nothing to with it lol No other track is remotely like it and it is not an indication of the rest of the championship.

Just strange how AC wins a heat race and no-one says anything, Nagl does the double and doesn't mean he is the best in the world. But as soon as RV wins a heat race, they may hand him the trophy as the best in the world as if Qatar didn't count lol.

RV will dominate at this track because it suits him, he was always going to have his weekends of domination on tracks that suit his style but not every weekend will he be this dominant. Other guys will have their day too, just like Nagl did last week. It will get RV back in the points race quickly though and that will make it even more exciting at the next round!

Lighten up mccread...it's just the same smack talk as last weekend only in reverse.
Actually a lot less smack talk so far.

MCCread, there really has not been much in the way of people claiming RV is the best in the world after the Qualifying race.

Actually think the majority are of the opinion that there will be races where RV destroys the field and other races where he has days like Qatar, though I don't think we will see another one quite that bad in terms of final results.

With no bike issues or crashes I struggle to see RV ever finishing outside the top five, same with AC222.

Paulin, Nagl and Desalle in the same book, inside the top 1-6 in every race unless something goes wrong with bike or a crash or at one of those rounds where a local rider excels, could also throw Van Hoorebeek into that mix.

I was impressed with DeSalle's qualifying race. He and RV smoked the field. Having said that, I hope RV opens a super sized can of whoop ass in both motos tomorrow!

The most pathetic part of that bullshit, and it's got strong opposition, is that he's sending that shit to their wives.. what an absolute piece of shit
just give me 5 minutes with him (empty threat from a quadriplegic but I've got plenty of mates in low places that would do anything for me haha)

This track is not all that different than last weeks track. Last week the track was the reason RV got 9-8 and this week its the reason he dominated. Neither one of those statements are correct. Despite his finish I was impressed with AC, he looked very comfortable and he was clearing combos that the guys he was passing were not. Desalle also looked good to me and after watching the race I agree with Malin (which is going to get me in trouble with some here) and I think once the first lap was over Desalle saw he had 2nd locked in so he just maintained his pace. I'm confident at race time both Desalle and AC, provided they get good starts, will give RV and much tougher fight than in this qualifying race.
I`m afraid ryan was in a different league in that heat no bones about it , race time may be closer but if he gets a start they are going to have to push a lot a harder and that changes the dynamics of things , I hope all the top guys get starts with No 2 at the front
