Almost got passed by Ty Davis, but he started at about the same time as I did, and there really wasn't any passing involved. I did get a few seconds to inhale his dust, though.

5. the Blose Brothers - I was a so called 250 intermediate, they embarrased me on their 80's - you got it at Canyon Raceway
6. Bobby Moore - at a practice track in North Scottsdale near 136th and dynomite rd I didnt always ride at Canyon
- Mike Brown on the CAT Honda CR125 at Golding Barn (UK)
- Rob Herring on the Heron Suzuki RM250 at Seven Hills (UK)
Brown came past me WFO, and the motor was singing like only a 125 two-stroke can.
Herring railed around the outside berm in a sandy left-hand turn before a short run to a tabletop, where upon he calmly looked back at me in mid-air and merrily carried on his way to another fast lap-time. I thought it was cool then (I was 16 in 1990 when this happened), and it's just made me smile now at the memory.
I'll STFU now...
Pit Row
And during a practice day in Millville around 2000, Heath Voss quaded two doubles while I was in between them. He must have been 20 feet above my head. Scared the shit outta me! lol
Brad lackey, Bob Grossi and Bill Silverthorn at Carnegie, the old Inter-Am track. During practice.
Danny Chandler passed me and then crashed during a night race at Fremont. He had crashed at the start and was working his way forward. I thought he was done after that. Not. He blew by me again a lap later.
I got a holeshot, just beating out Steve Stackable into the first turn at some sandy track near Austin in the late 70’s. I can’t remember the name, only raced there once. He took a turn or two to figure out I was a slug but not dangerous and eased by. I kept him in sight for a lap or two and then I was done for the rest of the moto.
Dick Mann and I raced for a few turns at Sand Hill Ranch. 75’ I think. I can’t remember if I was on my Maico or the RM. I came up on him and he ran into the side of me. I’m thinking, “Dude, I’m going to pass you, just move over”. The guy was so competitive, I don’t think he had it in him to move over. We ran into each other a couple more times and I finally made it passed him. He hit me so hard that first time, it startled me and it frickin hurt. No one ever ran into me like that before or since. I was like 20, pretty much at the top of my racing career and he was like 50 or 60 or something, riding a slug thumper. Woopee. I passed Dick Mann.
I felt like a total spode for blocking Emig.
That pretty much my list for the short time I've been riding.
Was passed by McGrath at Carlsbad during morning practice one time.
Was passed by Jlaw, Nick Evennou, JS, MC, Reed, and Tatum Sikk out at Cahuilla in recent years.
