I am a has-been that never really was. Fast in my day but those are behind... I blame school, marriage and my kiddo. Well, she is about a year away from getting her first dirt bike so daddy will need a new one too.

I spend more time on the street now but I used to be an intermediate moto guy. So, yeah, I have spent a lot of time on a bike and I think I know what I am talking about.

I love this board and thanks to GuyB for giving us a place were the PC bullshit doesn't matter. I have a load of fun on here and some of you guys and gals are really great.

If I ever piss you off, just remember it is all in fun (for the most part) and I can take as much as I give so please don't pull punches.

what an asshole response.... if you haven't noticed, people b!tch about ads all the time and no one is happy for them. So why be surprised when someone calls your site out? I never go there of course because it appeals mainly to 13yo's but hey, I guess you know your market.

man, everyone is acting like an ACL injury is the end of it all... 14 months to heal? A pro athlete, depending on the actual damage, could be back in around 6 months. It's not a devastating injury. Just cause you couch potatoes take longer to heal doesn't mean it will take a world class athlete the same time.

Second new thread from me today but I thought this was important enough to break out... Does anyone have any data on injuries this year? Amateur or pro? It seems like there haven't been as many "bad" injuries but I may be wrong.

What do you guys think of all the site redesigns? Racer X, Transworld, hell even Dirt Rider is posting to their site again... Any of this working for anyone? Personally, I don't really like the changes and I think all of them are a step backwards.

Unless someone has asked this before, I think it could be a fun topic... Who is the baddest rider to ever pass you on the track? Practice, race time... just not on MX/ATV Unleashed... Mine? Larocco... Winter Series race way back ('89 maybe) during practice... I was a C rider but was jumping what used to be a double coming...

I posted in another thread about a time when a competitor (and friend) of mine loosened my plug before a moto and I blew an engine. A few people seem to think something like this would never happen and seemed to call bullshit. Ever have anything similar happen to your bikes?

Anyone notice a trend with Fan of the Week? Muscle Milk this week? Monster last week? Is DC selling this as advertising space? I mean, running the nationals, you have to keep your sponsors happy. I'm sure leveraging coverage on his website goes a long way.

The board has been slow on some good (read fight worthy) comments... The MXdN is over and the US Open really doesn't do much for me personally. Moto GP is wrapped up as is AMA stuff.
