Anyone else say anything about it?

WP finished 6th on a track he clearly didn't care for and that says a lot about his character and determination. He didn't bag out and finish 20th. Chad Reed doesn't care for Lakewood, so what? WP like any other pro has a right to voice his opinion on a track but the big thing is he didn't use it as an excuse either.

Red Bud, Unadilla, Glen Helen, and Spring Creek all have some narrow spots. The part that does need changed at Muddy Creek is the start. I liked the old start years ago that started to the right of the present starting line, swept up the hill into now what is the first turn. It spread everyone out a bit before they went into that 180 that is the present first turn.

What's funny is everybody in this thread(well anyone that actually rides) has a track that they have said is the worst track they have ever rode. The OP happens to love Albany MX which has become one of the biggest shitholes of a track I have ridden Smile
You obviously don't know who the OP is because I've never heard of Albany MX.....

I race Baja MX, Bulldogs, Red Bud, Log Road etc. But can say my mediocre MX skills have never graced Albany MX.

As for Peick, that track did look less than ideal and there were multiple spots where you could tell the worlds best were tip-toeing, which I think is frustrating to these guys

Funny to read WP's comments. When I saw it yesterday I thought,"Finally, a real MX track".

He should be proud that he kicked some major butt on a track like that, not complaining.

Has Weston ever finished as high as 6th in a national? I can't recall but it was a great performance and seems to me he should be wishing for a lot more shitty tracks cause he does extremely well on them. lol

I giggle about the guys bad mouthing Muddy Creek, that was hard core motocross. The ruts and breaking bumps are what should separate the pros from the mere mortals. That track tested them and it is true east coast moto.

Peick finished 4th overall (5-5) at the Utah national last year.

I get a kick out of this place. First it's " wish they were not robots up there and showed true thoughts and emotion" and then it's " what a pussy or a whiner for saying how he feels". Fawkin bipolar here.

Yeah, especially Muddy Creek during the second motos after about 30 classes and several hundred bikes have been on the track. Yesterday looked like a typical Muddy Creek track. Not being critical, but it turns into a difficult track.

I enjoy hearing these riders complain about the tracks approximately the same amount as I enjoy seeing basketball players bitch to the refs

Exactly. I don't think he was complaining, just merely stating his opinion. Some of these guys are here are way too soft.

Hey man I owned up to being a hater and that I was just being an internet troll on my first reply. My bad. And Albany did become a shit Hole for 3 or 4 years there, but it's night and day better as of late.

I only know what I saw on the tube...a track so gnarly I seriously doubt I could even negotiate it with any speed if at all. These guys are badasses.

I was more offended by his grammar than I was by his insulting of the track.

Wood stakes? Are you talking about the posts holding the banners or what?

I cant stand some of the tracks that some of my regular riding buddies love. Everyone has different tastes and opinions.

Whats wrong with having a opinion?!

He just ran 6th overall !!!

Better than some programmed factory robot saying what everyone wants to here!

He thought the track sucked , still kicked ass , end of story.

Kicked ass? 6th place? He is a factory rider. Sounds like a average finish.

Just my opinion but even going 40-40 at a national puts you in a fairly elite group. I only wish I was that good.

we just left racing today. It was the ruttiest, bumpiest most chewed up track I have ever ridden. Well after 24 motos it was. Not one single smooth place on the whole track. But we had a good time.
