Who here thinks like me. That Dungeys bad days are going to be thirds and he goes to win around 7-9 races and dominates the series.

(Unless James stays confident, healthy and on two wheels which changes everything no matter who he is racing.)

I don't know about 7-9 but now that he has a personal trainer I expect him to do well in the outdoors. Another interesting development is RV1 sitting out. Dungey should be able to take 3-4 easily.

i doubt the personal trainer has anything to do with anything. He has always been in shape.

Dungey will win the outdoors. Only person that will keep it close is Roczen now that RV and Tomac are both hurt.

Hum, then why would he bother getting one? They do more than just monitor workouts you know?

I would not be surprised if Stewart ends up with more moto wins than Dungey this year.

2010 MX he won 10
2011 MX he won 4 - with RV and Reed
2012 MX he won 10
2013 MX he won 3 - with RV and Stewart

So without RV you would assume it would be 10, but he obviously has a healthy Stewart who beat him for 4 motos in a row going on 5 before his crash in 2012.

I think its hard to tell...James will be faster than Ryan, that is almost a guarantee, but can ryan outlast JS7 in a moto, I say yes. Also James is James, he will have at least one bad round, its almost a guarantee. Look at how many bad rounds he had in SX, at least 4 (A1, Daytona, NYC, and Seattle).

The real question I have is Reed and Roczen. Reed will be consistent, like he always is and like Dungey is, from what I have seen Reed can beat Dungey and keep Dungey behind him. Roczen will be fast, but I still dont think he has the endurance for 30 minute motos. He would fade some during SX races, what is he going to do at the 25 minute mark on a brutal track?

I think Tomac might have done well against him. Barcia wont win a big bike title, he just doesnt have it, he didnt have it on a 250 outdoor either. I think if Canard can stay healthy has a better chance than Barcia.

I really wanted to see CP377 race 450, but maybe next year.

The way Roczen rode at Daytona has me confident in him being fit and fast enough to beat Dungey

I would not be so quick to give it to Dungey. There are going to be some heavy hitters in that class.

Reed has been on his ass for 4 months, Roczen trains with Aldon Baker and RV, and you are calling Roczen's fitness into question? Delusional.

This is going to be a 5 man series. JS, Dunge, Roczen Canard, Reed. With Reed coming into form toward the middle of the year and going on a late season tear.

It wont be a 5 man series, it will boil down to 2 or 3 real fast just like SX.

I agree...after 3-4 rounds the mental side of things will change the series into a 2 or 3 rider series. We can only hope it takes much longer though.

oh and DirtySteve, I assume taht was geared towards me. There is a difference between Roczen and Reed, Reed has been there before (against RV and Dungey). I dont care if Roczen has been training with Aldon, look at his lap times late in races and get back to me.

Here and there sure. I don't see it in a series yet.

Two big bike titles and a third lost because of mechanicals.

We all know how dungey rides especially without RV in the mix. Stewart raw speed is way faster no doubt. Will james complete every moto this year? I don't think so. Dungey is proven to be there week in and week out. Now I think roczen will do very good. It was his first full year in supercross and he does have a full national series under his belt already. Dungey, roczen, and reed will be the three guys gunning for the championship. Until Stewart's proves me wrong i think he will dnf a moto or two

I think it will be a dog fight between Dungey and Stewart. Stewart is much more consistent outdoors than indoors and Dungey is very strong outdoors. Reed is a wildcard and Roczen and the like will be crossing the line while Stewart and Dungey are loading up their bikes.

Lets throw this question out there. If Dungey goes out and dominates, will there be yet another * next to his title? If Roczen or someone else goes out and wins it, will there be the same * or???

Canard? The 450 hasn't been very gentle on him but he still has mad skills.

It will be between RD and KR. Stew won't finish all the motos or even the series with that knee. Stamp it. You think dabbing it in a supercross corner fucked him up wait till he gets in that deep shit outdoors

Dungey is 2nd in all-time outdoor 450 overall wins only behind Carmichael. I think those KTMs work better outdoors then indoors. I like his chances.

There are not any * next his titles. You have to line up to win. If they put a * next to every rider who won a championship because the competition was hurt and couldn't race, half the riders would have one.

Dungey would have been the only consistent threat to RV had he raced outdoors. He will be tough to beat.

I think this season is going to be EPIC.....no matter who wins! I'm sure we will find out who did their home work on testing and fitness come GH......but I'm with you guys on thinking that about 3 - 4 rounds in....we'll start seeing 2 - 3 guys pull from the rest of the pack. Too early to tell exactly who though.

I've seen a lot of names being thrown around too....and I'm not seeing anyone mention Millsaps.....which I think is a mistake. I also think Malcolm is going to do some damage as well this summer. I think that kid is a diamond in the rough.....and his time to start running towards the front is coming.....as long as he can keep it off the ground.
