Europe is such a shitty country.

How many ofyou Americans know this guy named Gert Krestinov? I guess 99% doesn't.
Well let me tell you. He won the MX2 GP in Lommel a few years ago. That wasthe first time we heard from him, and now he's somewherre in England racing Nationals...
What I'm saying is this. If oyu know how to ride Lommel, like Krestinov did that day, you can win the race. If you don't, you be crying in your after ten minutes. YOU JUST DON'T KNOW WHAT WILL HAPPEN! Lommel is a bitch.....

Agree with CalimeroFan, you don't know what will happen at Lommel. I totally destroyed a clutch over there once in about 20 minutes, didn't see that one coming Smile But I remember watching Krestinov winning that race on tv, it was just amazing. And he will be racing for Estonia this year, would be nice to see him do well.

You are wrong, it's actually 100% of us that don't know who Gert Krestinov is :-)

Barcia will lap Herlings, while sitting down, riding far too fast a pace for 30+2 at Lommel. Stamp it.

Talking about laps. Barcia wil be on Roger's lap after the MXDN, crying about how the 'Euros' handed his ass to him.

Why don't you GP guys pick 3 guys from your series and we will pick 3 guys from the AMA. We can do this every year but that means we get Roczen and anyone else riding in the AMA that year. Actually, Roczen raced a GP so we can both count him if we choose. Wink . Same rules with a throw away race an everything.

I thought it was already fixed up anyway as far back as 2 weeks ago?

Obviously I dont really think Barcia will lap Herlings, but that is the type of shit the Dutch/Belgians are saying the other way around. Unless one of them crashes, neither Herlings or Barcia will lap each other, they are both great riders and I am looking forward to a heads up match between them. Herlings may well beat Barcia, but IF he does, it will not be by much, it will be close.

Lommel was chosen because its different and challenging, there are usually two or three sand tracks on the GP schedule, they're all very varied. So its hardly something out of the ordinary, it just so happens that the MXSports opt for a different style of track in general, thats all.

I'm not big on conspiracy theories so I agree that it probably wasn't some scheme to dethrone USA. It just seems like an odd place to hold the Des Nations or even an Mx GP for that matter ,especially given all the epic Euro tracks available. I was not a fan at all of the Des Nations being at Thunder Valley either , I would have rather seen it happen at a more classic scenic facility like Unadilla , Red Bud,Budds(again), or one of the PA tracks.
The place ain't exactly some Euro playground either, trust me,most guys don't relish the thought of going there at all,yes there are a few specialists but I guess that's the same for other places too

Dungey, Baggett, and Barcia will all beat Herlings in at least 1 moto.

Stamp it!

Don't you need a 250 rider to match against Baggett? Roczen and Herlings are on the 350, right?

true story!
I see you forgot the 2003 MXDN when Carmichael beat Everts in the sand. Carmichael was on a 250 2 stroke and Everts was on a 500 4 stroke.

True story!

America's biggest problem is smoking a clutch. Team America is going to spank those bikes into the ground.

I think Roczen is MX2 if Shiffer is riding. Nagl MX1. If Shiffer is out then who knows.

Awesome. I should imagine however this works out, these guys will be sick of sand come the end of the week! Grinning .
They're certainly putting the hours in.

On a slightly different note, I wonder if this whole thing will inspire the powers back home to add a real sand track to the National schedule or maybe have tons of sand dumped on Southwick to bring it back more to how it once was. These guys are clearly enjoying it and it would only further benefit the series imo to have a true sand track on the schedule.

That was Zolder,it was on top a Race car circuit ,a temporary track with man made tabletops etc,we went that year and I can safely say you couldn't consider it a sand track, that's not taking anything away from RC,he won the day

I'd have liked to have seen RC at somewhere like Lommel or Leirop though, personally i'd go with Everts,I don't think RC would have beaten Everts by 11 seconds there
