I lack a degree in petroleum engineering but PE holders agree that extraction of Venezuelan reserves will be both costly and time consuming. $80/barrel is typically the happy place for funding complex projects.  Big picture economics support higher prices at the pump in exchange for broader fiscal benefits.

I would expand but my YouTube Music is playing Danzig!

R66 you might lead the race for short term memory issues here, you posted this yesterday brotha.

Meanwhile (a reminder for you) this is who your government had play at the inauguration. A lot of projection amongst this group.

Also, I'd say our current government is doing an excellent job uniting the United States at present!

I suspect our government will seem even weirder if the full Epstein files ever get released...

Playing music at an event and running departments of government are two different things. You know that.

In what country? Pretty sure the country you're in determines profitability level per barrel. Also, since you're being distracted by music, how close was my guess? What song was it?

Idk. With the amount of times you’ve been posting this, and having so many pictures on your phone of trans and gay people…..

That’s pretty gay bro. 🏳️‍🌈

Doesn't look like they are gonna get him on any drug charges at this point.

“What this administration has shown is that it’s willing to use propaganda to do what they want. No pushback, they just do it; no one is stopping them,” said Johnston, who is leading the coverage of the events from a U.S. policy perspective for the center. “They’re scaling back in the allegations [of drug trafficking] because they would need to prove that in court."

Do you have something against gay people? I don’t. These peoples sexual orientation was not their problem. The problem was they were championing an open border, dei programs, allowing our cities to be over run with crime, weakening our military, allowing trannies to influence kids, not knowing what a women is, not knowing what a man is, allowing men in women’s sports,  not tending to domestic issues, etc.   I post this pic because people are quick to forget what a shit show the last administration was. I do not want to go back to those times. Out of curiosity, what do you think was the greatest accomplishment of the biden administration?

Capping out of pocket annual drug expenses for medicaid at something reasonable.

It cracks me up how when I criticized your post you instantly ask me what I thought of Biden. As if I even remotely supported or liked him 😆

If deflecting were intelligence, you’d be a genius

Also I have no problem with gay people even if it may conflict with my Christian beliefs. I treat everyone equal!

I’m just pointing out if another grown man (presumably middle aged?) had this many pics of trans and gay people, it would make me question his sexuality.

Shale extraction is only economical if oil stays above a certain price. When Saudi’s cut production their goal was to freeze this market. Under the first Trump admin the goal was oil independence which prompted the US to continue. Under Biden much of this was frozen due to environmental and it put OPEC back into more control. Oil in Middle East is much cheaper to refine but again it goes back to energy independence. I read an article yesterday that energy producing states are watching closely to recent developments. Add to that the  northern pipelines are in flux.

Disclaimer: I’m not an expert and don’t want to claim to be! I learned a little about petroleum engineering in college 30 years ago but I have a lot of colleagues/friends in the oil patch. So this is just an opinion 😉

Side note, the extraction companies have a very dynamic market. We’re either going green and relying on foreign oil or full swing in energy independence.

Saudi oil pumping cost is reportedly about $10/bbl. Oil produced through fracking in the US runs about $35-$75/bbl pumping cost.

If you can’t win the discussion  accuse me of being gay? I think the reason you do not want to see those pics is because you are in denial that it ever happened. It did. It was real. You can’t deny it. It was total bullshit all the way around. I know it and you know it.

I watch TV. You can find oil by simply shooting a musket into any random Tennessee hillside!  Up from the ground comes a bubblin’ crude!  Easy.

Oh, yeah. I forgot.  While it wasn’t Right Said Fred (‘twas Aerosmith), I did whisper “On the cat now!  I shake my little tush” over the tower freq as we taxied to Cat 2 on the TR back in ‘93. I thought it was hilarious. The Air Boss, not so much.

Maybe try taking a day off from despising the other half of your countries citizens who don't hold your exact beliefs. You'd be far less insufferable.

Looks like AI slop, but does the competition aspect matter? What exactly is the top level principle to support it.....when someone you're competing with may do something better than you, that it's okay to reduce morality until you find a solution? And that a criminal first place is better than a moral second place? How does this fit with wanting America to be more merit based?

Do you realize how many verses there are in the bible that surround cheating even in the non-marital sense? As best I can tell, the big picture is ten times worse in every aspect of what it means to be an American, or a Christian, or pretty much anything we hold sacred. The whole "win at any cost" thing is for the Gordon Gekko's out there, which.....holy shit now that I'm saying it, it makes perfect sense. What doesn't make sense, is how the people in this country fell in love with it.

I am not going to stoop to your juvenile level and call you names, but if I were going to, I’d call you retarded. But, I’m not going to do that.

Did you also wonder why there were so many Raider fans in the 70s and 80s?

An interesting read below. While we double down on the past, China seems to be full speed ahead into the future.

What do you mean the past?  China will always need oil, and a lot of it.  They are playing the precious metal game, and we countered with the oil play.  Very smart of our President to be looking out for you and everyone else on this forum to avoid being owned by China.
