If you want to be a technical nerd about it you count the numbers of piles of dirt and there you have it. In general use however I'm looking to explain the distance of said obstacle.
He tripled onto the table.
He quaded over the table.
When speaking like that everyone has a good idea the distances you are talking about.
Would be nice if we could keep all the triple vs quad talk here. Also, in before the smart guy comes to tell us we are stupid if we have a different opinion.
Brayton is scared to call it a quad now 😂😂😂
Depends on the size of the table. If the table is equal distance of the doubles then it's a quad.
That is pretty much perfect, unless people enjoy being pedantic and argumentative about it.
More interestingly at this point, I wonder how many threads specifically about this question have been on Vital... 15? 20? More?
Even Brayton didn't want to call the rhythm Jett crashed on one or the other, he knows people will just complain and argue, hilarious 😂😂
I have the answer for all the Vitards who can’t get over this pointless argument.
It’s an…..impressive jump that 99.9% of Vitards including me can’t do so you and me have no opinion to give.
You are welcome.
**raises hand**
If no one in b practice hits it, then it’s a quad. Damn you guys are dense
What's this? 1 mound of dirt? 2 peaks?
Table? Double? Something else?
if ONE tabletop is 80 feet long, may as well call it a quad. it's simply a matter of distance. so yes, it's a quad. if it wasn't, it's doubtful the arguably best guy on the circuit would have come up short.
Easy.
It's a guy with a pronounced chin, sagging neck, no lips, beak nose and seriously sloping forehead lying on his back.
What did I win?
Pit Row
I’ve never once said I cleared a double when I jumped a tabletop. That should answer the question. It’s a triple.
For nobody caring, the votes are pretty close to even!! So we’re still as confused as ever as to what to call it 😂😂😂
That’s actually a 6 pack
IDGAF
Ya I thought this might resolve the issue and settle this whole dispute but sure as shit .. it’s almost 50/50 !!!! Who would have thought ?!!
I dont care either way but this has to be some sort of anomaly.
Is one half of vitards plumb dumb ?
You be the judge !!!
Maybe we are all half right ?
Maybe you are having bad luck at thinking today? Or
I award you no points and may god have mercy on your soul.
It all depends on the length. Sometimes there are sections where a tabletop and two singles are jumped but the distance appears to be more of a triple than a quad. These type of sections are often done by most riders and there doesn't seem to be as much difficulty involved in clearing the obstacle.
At the same time, there are other sections that involve a tabletop and two singles that are jumped but the distance is greater. These type of sections are often done by only the top few riders and when doing so, there appears to be much more effort, risk, and wow factor.
So I think both are true, some sections involving a table and two singles could be considered a triple or quad all depending on the difficulty and distance.
However, If you had to be scientific about it, a table top can be jumped from the takeoff to the landing just like two singles. If two singles are considered a double, a table top would have to fall in the same category. Add two more singles to that, and technically I believe you would have to call it a quad.
thats a triple, bro!
Over table triple.
