Does anyone else feel like theyre using too much split screen? It makes it so instead of really focusing on one battle going on youre trying to watch two things at once on two tiny screens and its not as easy to see. They also make the boxes too small with a bunch of unused screen space around them. If they have to use split screen why not make both take up the whole screen and then overlay the rider position box over that on the side like they do on single screen?
They should save the split screen only for moments when two cant miss things are happening at once and when they use it make the screens bigger. Use it less but make it count when you do, I think that would help a lot towards making it better to watch. We were able to watch racing for years with 1 screen and catch most of the action. Innovation is good, but I think this one is being used too much, tone it back a bit and itll be good.

We kicked this around last year. They wear me out with so much split screen. Some is ok but to much is to much. They need to tone back the split screen.
To much split screen ….its like more then half the race is that or a drone that’s not in 4k
It's a bit silly when you have the same people on the split screen at the same time.

Put the primary cameras on the RACING and then blow the leader with the truck driver nose bleed handy cam. They got it backwards rn.
Nothing ef'ing wears me out more than cutting away from LIVE RACING to run a pre-recorded 30-45 second bit on a rider's practice crash or some other drama pimping bullshit. For all that is love and holy, NEVER EVER cut away from live racing. Bondo should have been fired 5 years ago. The split screen can get a little annoying but at least they are showing the live racing. Not sure how hard it is to understand. Rule #1: Don't EVER cut away from the live racing....
Well said, and I completely agree with too much split screen and poor utilization of screen space.
Even worse for me is when they cut from live racing to show full-screen replays or other stuff. The second 450 heat they went full-screen replay of Sexton, then got so far behind the real action it took several minutes for them to catch up with what the hell was going on.
Just cover, and call, the damn race.

It makes it hard to see who’s even on it. At one point last night they showed Roczen and AP live in one and Roczun and AP replayed in another. If there’s a race for the lead going on stay on it, and only it. This shouldn’t be rocket science. Oh yeah and fire Ricky 🙄

Too much split screen as well as too much footage coming from an $800 drone that shoots amateur level video quality. Do better guys.
not a big fan of the drone indoors. dont really care about the split screen as long as it's showing two battles for example, BUT what i do care about is showing full features or interviews DURING A RACE. that shit is so annoying. i dont care if its just an lcq i want to watch the entire race gate drop to checkered flag. show the feature after or inbetween races ffs.

It’s not just the split screen that is the problem. The crappy graphics that some old guy did in paint 30 years ago don’t help with the crappy blue background.
There should be one main screen that shows 100% and if you have the need to do a split screen just fold in a little 25% box in one corner instead of the crap they use now.

I think this is a good idea with the smaller box in the corner. Theres no need for the blue background wasting valuable screen space and making the screens smaller. The feeds should be taking up the entire screen.
Yes, too much split screen. I have a big TV for a reason, and the reason is not to watch two small screens.
I don't disagree, but at least give them credit for getting rid of the overlapping tiny version with the add. They changed the aspect ratio this time and used a significantly larger portion of the screen.

Just leave a full size screen up, have the rider position box be clear instead of black (duh). Then when you need to show another part of the race just put it over top in the right corner. But this have 3 separate windows making the screens tiny sucks.
What if the split screen had one following Jett and the other following Jason? The whole time..
I don't like the split screen either. Especially because they make it sooo small. If they are gonna use it at least make it wayy bigger. And please dont take the camera off the race leader battle to show a replay of the start 😒
